About Welcome to the Livejournal Community for the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp. This is the first ever LJ community for the movie! Feel free to post anything and everything about the movie! This includes pictures, spoilers, reviews, icons and other graphics! Thank you! ♥ 1. SPOILERS under an LJ-CUT because even though it's based on the book, this is still a nice thing to do! 2. Please put large images and/or a large amount of images under a cut. 3. Mr. Salt Deep Roy .... Oompa Loompa  1. Weekly Caption Contest: Every Sunday at 7PM (Eastern time), one Picture will be posted and all you have to do is come up with an orginial caption. A caption can be one a line or a few words. Be creative, be imaginative, be original! The following Friday at 7PM, we (the moderators) will choose 3-5 captions that we think are the best. Then all of the community members will vote for the one they like the best by simply placing the one user's name (but please, do NOT vote for yourself). Also, no one can win two weeks in a row and once you've won three times, you must wait at least one week to enter a new caption. The winner will recieve a nice banner to put in their journal and/or userinfo. Good luck to all! 2. Most Times Seen: One week before the release of the Charlie and Chocolate Factory DVD, all members will be able to start posting their ticket stubs from when you have the seen movie. You must show your tickets by either scanning them or taking a clear picture of them, to prove that you have seen the movie.
