AboutThis community has everything to do with writing about your favorite original RPG character.
Note that this is NOT for writing about your favorite character from a manga, video game, anime, comic book, or story. This character must be of your own creation, must be original, and cannot be a complete rip off of a copyrighted character ("My character's name is Badger, and he has these big wicked metal claws! Yeah!").
Your character can exist in any world you wish them to. If you like Star Wars, be in it. If you like the Marvel Universe, be in it. If you are all about the WoD and all it's stuff, go for it. If you decide to hop around worlds and universes because your character does that sort of thing, then by all means, have at it.
There are just a few rules:
1) Do not write something that is NC-17 without a cut tag and a warning for it. You get a nasty note from me if you do it once, and a big kick from the community if you do it again. If you are unsure about whether you should use the LJ cut tag, use it, because you're better safe than sorry. I can be VERY nasty in notes.
2) No character interaction between writers unless it is in self contained posts. Do not write "Mark rode into town, looking for a drink..." and then wait for someone to write back to you. Also, do not respond to someone's post by writing yourself into it, or doing trade off posts on what's happening. Get together with them outside of the community, figure it all out, then one of you post your part as a self contained story, then the other, and so on. Remember, self contained story. This will cut down on dangling bits of story, which annoy me greatly.
3) Do not police other people's posts. I don't want to see a comment such as "Jean Gray would never do that, she is a good girl!" littering a post. It's fiction, not cannon, and anything that happens in someone else's world doesn't effect you one whit. If I think that something is too stupid to live, I will say so.
4) My word is law. If you cannot respect that, there is a way to leave the community that will not result in my planting anything up your anus.

Adverts to your roleplaying game. It's fabulous that you have one, and want people to join, but that's not what this is for.
Adverts to your story journal. This comm is FOR STORIES. Post your STORIES.
Nonsense posts declaring your name and how awesome you are. Seriously, wtf?
