| Hey there, I'm Jennifer and I've been roleplaying for about ten years (and I am old, so I fit all age requirements). I currently mod a few games and what I'm really looking for is somewhere where I can go to just play and not have to worry about all of the mod stuff (don't get me wrong, I love it, but a game or two where I'm just a player seems like a nice prospect). I'm open to playing just about anyone, though, Hannah Abbott, Alice Longbottom, and Marlene McKinnon are my favorites. My Character History can be found here to give you an example of my background. I will only play MWPP, Trio/Post-Trio, I might consider Next-Gen and AU if they're really well done. I also only do threads, no AIM nonsense, and I prefer no games that require you to write first-person journals, I'm sorry, but Wizards having accessible journals for others makes no sense to me and I just dislike it. The big niche with me is that I am incredibly picky about games. I am looking for something with a well-developed plot and characters, zero drama (I refuse to tolerate it), organized, responsible, and active mods, active players, and a game that isn't going to die within a few weeks. I prefer LJ, but I will play on IJ, DW, or IS. I've been looking through ads for a few weeks while promoting my own games, but nothing has really caught my eye, so please, lure me into your games (I don't want one-liners with the name and year, I want detailed description, really try to sell me on the games, or I won't even bother looking). | |

| Hey there, I'm Jennifer and my Katie Bell muse is dying for a home. I've been roleplaying for close to nine years and I have a ton of samples if anyone would like to see them. Fandom: Harry Potter Genre: Marauder Era AU Character: Severus Snape PB Preference: Jake Richardson (although if he is taken, I'm open to suggestions) My Snape is your basic nerd. If he'd been a Muggle, he would have been a chemist or physicist (or both). He's also a proto-Goth. His fascination with the Dark Arts is ananlogous to your typical emo Muggle teenage boy carrying around a well-thumbed copy of The Anarchist Cookbook, with his potion and curse experimentation replacing dabbling in bombs. In other words, he's mostly harmless, but he relishes the appearance of being bad, and he manages to get in over his head with the Death Eaters because of that. Format: No -- I repeat, NO -- AIM. Journals/Threads only. I don't like messaging programs, and I won't use them at all -- even for required game plotting chats or stuff. This is the one area in which I'm entirely inflexible. Journal Preference: IJ >>> LJ. I'll look at LJ games, but I'm not crazy about LJ, and your game will have to really blow me away for me to consider playing on LJ. Experience: I've been RPing off and on for 10+ years. Unfortunately, most of my threads were on GJ and have been comment-rotted to death. :-( I can e-mail other samples upon request, although I'd rather just include them in an application. One Last Thing: I'm looking for a Marauder Era AU for a reason. IMO, Snape got a raw deal in the books, and I'd like to give him a better life. I'm not necessarily looking for Snily, but rather a chance to repair their friendship (if post-5th year), or possibly not have it end in the first place (if pre-5th year). | Hello! I'm Hermeh and I'm looking for a place to play Hermione Granger. I've been role playing for nearly eight years, now, if not more, and I'll be nineteen next month. Things to know about Hermione:• I do play her canonly. Meaning I love Ron and Hermione together, and I do like the idea of Rose. • If it's a post-warts game, she'll be employed at the Ministry of Magic, though it'll depend on what year it is in the game to determine which department she would be in at that particular time. • She still has Crookshanks and will happily let him shred some of Ron's socks if he's being a ponce. Things I want in a game:• No cliques. • I want a game with lots of activity. I like playing Hermione and would actually like to play her more than once a month to meet the activity requirement. • With that said, an active Ron, Harry, and Ginny, or at least holds on them? It's so hard to find a game with a Ron in it already, but then again? It's hard to find a Ron at all, lately. • I know it sounds crazy, but I like to do long and detailed replies, and they suit me quite well. • Mods that don't think that they're better than the rest of the participants in the game and feel as if they're higher than their players. It's a huge pet peeve of mine. Where I'll play:• Not PSL. • InsaneJournal is preferred. • Scribbld and LiveJournal will also work, though I'm not as familiar with how they work, so it might take me some time to make the journals pretty. With that said, I think I'd prefer Scribbld over LJ. I haven't used LJ in so long. What I'm Looking For
This is simple and yet so very complicated all in one. I'm looking for precisely one writing partner. Yes, that is correct just one writing partner. I find that if I can laugh, joke and have a fairly decent/open friendship with this person anything we write will fall into place.
I'm looking for a writing partner that is reliable; who enjoys one-on-one writing, doesn't mind playing male characters, or canon characters against original female characters.
An example of this would be someone playing Severus Snape as a counterpart to my original female character Sloane Wickham.
With that said I am currently seeking the various canon characters to play against: Severus Snape, Rupert Giles, Trent Kalamack, and Jean-Claude as I'd really like to try my hand at playing Anita Blake.
I'm also willing to try original games, but I find it's easier to create an original world after playing with someone in a world already created.

| I'm looking for a place to play Remus Lupin, preferably as a student or during the first war. I have extensive experience doing so, having played him many times, and here is just one such incidence. His Application and InfoI've played him for over two years and something like 8 different places, and i've just really come to enjoy it. Obviously, this will be adapted to fit the game in question, but yeah. I really love playing Remus, writing Remus, reading Remus, etc. He's just my favorite character. So if you need one, let me know. Secondarily, I would also be interested in playing Sirius Black or James Potter, whom I have both played in the past, and I do sometimes like playing Lily. I'd like an active and interesting RPG, perhaps with a group of people who have worked together before and have a dynamic that works, but that's not a necessity. I want something fairly laid back and fun, but still active and dynamic with actual plot perpetuation. I'm up for either AU or non-AU. Either's good with me. | Hello! I'm Julia and make all age requirements (sadly!). I've been rping for over three years and love getting deeply involved in games. I'm modding two games and looking for a place to kick back and relax. I know both these characters are long shots so if you happen upon this post in a few weeks, feel free to comment anyway! Character[s] wanted: Mostly Draco Malfoy. Possibly Remus Lupin in a school setting (trio era). What I want in a game:For Draco: AU. I'd like either an adult aged game OR while in school. Why AU? Simply put, I don't much like the concept of the other Greengrass sister and I don't wish to be forced into any sort of romantic plot with *anyone* unless there's chemistry. You can read his bio here. PBs are negotiable! For Remus: While I enjoy Remus/Tonks and have played it out before, I again don't want to be forced into anything. I'd prefer a school aged game since I already have a Remus who is married with children. An active Harry is a major bonus. You can read about Remus here. This PB is strongly preferred. For both: I like mods who realize this is a game and give their players creative license. I RP to write a different story from the ones told already. I like players who are open to newcomers and allowing stories to develop naturally in character. For this reason, I think AU is my best bet at this point, BUT if you have a canon based game with such freedom, I'll definitely take a gander. I also REALLY want a game that is set to last more than a few months. What I don't want in a game:-Time travel (I'm already in one, but I'll take a look. Just no promises!) -Set in any one year (in other words, I don't want to replay a book) -Players/mods who ridicule (whether they are condemning those in game or out) -Expectation to be on AIM. I prefer MSN, the OOC, and email for plotting. -A crazy banned list (yet, I DO want mods who know how to say no to those faces who just won't work --- i.e. wrong hair color, wrong age). -Long winded replies. My replies vary on the characters and scenes. I've written six paragraphs and I've written two sentences. It all depends and is much more natural to me. I don't want to feel as if I have to write a minimum of 10 sentences every time I reply to someone. Where do you prefer? IJ/LJ/GJ/SCRIBBLD/OTHER: IJ is my strong preference, but I'm really looking to branch out so I will consider LJ or Scribbld. | |
