Intro Posts are fine. Tag as "intro".
Goal Posts: stating a goal or goals. Tag as "goals". If these goals are also Resolutions or related to New Year's, tag as "new years" and "resolutions", respectively.
Progress posts: updates on how you are doing with a goal or goals. Tag as "progress".
Challenge Posts: when you want to challenge the comm to join you on a certain goal. Tag as "challenge".
Mod!posts: made bymalanai or myself, while we are in 'mod mode'. Posts by us that are goal posts or progress posts or whatever need not be tagged as "mod!post".
Anything that has to do with New Year's or Resolutions should be tagged with *both* "new years" and "resolutions".
Any other post *that is relevant* will probably also be approved. Tag as "other".
The "mod!challenge" tag is for the weekly moderator's challenges. Responses to these challenges should go in the comments to that entry. The "challenge response" tag is from before the Spotlight when challenge responses got their own entry. Don't even mess with that tag, it is for searching use only.
Now that I've taken the time to explain the tags, I would ask that you use them.malanai and I spent hours doing tag clean-up on some 250 posts. Please tag, I beg of you.

Please LJ-cut anything that is longer than one writing screen. What that means is, when you finish an entry, if you have to scroll back up to see the beginning of the entry, it needs to be under a cut.
Anything that you wouldn't want your boss or teacher to see also goes behind a cut. :)

I don't care if you've taken a picture of a harmless freakin carrot. It goes behind a cut. Posts w/ pictures that were posted prior to this particular rule going into effect are okay.
