I,

shypoet have created this community for many reasons. One of the main reasons is because there aren't very many communities for disabled parents or pregnant disabled women. While I am not pregnant yet, I thought I would go ahead and create this community early on in order to get advice from other physically challenged mothers and pregnant women. If you are trying to conceive (ttc), pregnant, or if you are just wanting to get advice for the future from other disabled mothers or pregnant women, this is a good community for you.

I hope this will be a place where we can come together and share the joys and difficulties of being pregnant and disabled, or being a parent who is disabled. Please...share your stories!

Please note: Disabled women of any kind may join this community. That means, it can be a disability/condition preventing you from having children (such as PCOS), or a physical disability such as mine, Cerebral Palsy. Like I state below in the rules, I want this to be a place for everyone regardless of what physical disability you may have.

Also, please note that for your privacy, entries are 'friends only'
