At any rate, I watched DREAM BOYS 2006 last night, and wow, Yoko, you sleazeball. XD I actually sat through the first third of it thinking to myself, "When is this going to stop making sense? I thought this wasn't to make sense? It's just stupid!" when I realized that Shock is the musical that doesn't make sense. oops. LEAVE IT TO ME TO MIX UP MY MUSICALS. Koichi would be appalled. Kame would probably be flattered. Speaking of musicals, did anyone else know about SUMMARY 2008? I was on the official JE site for some reason yesterday (I honestly can't remember why I was there, lolol), and I noticed that HSJ is going to do it with jrs. Probably ABC & kisumai. And HSJ doesn't need another group to perform with because A) there are more than enough of them, and B) there are no debuted groups from their generation, lulz.

On an unrelated note, I went shopping today! I need an outfit for my senior pictures next Saturday, and my mother thought it would be a good idea to shop today cause I had an appointment with the oral surgeon (wisdom teeth removal, sob), whose office is across the street from the mall. and hay gess wut! Nordstrom is having a ~*~SALE~*~ akjdfsladf god I love that place. However, I must have been channeling Gina's rogue spirit (either that or I've finally fallen victim to the shopping gene that comes with the double Xs--I'm going to blame Gina and trendy South Korean fashion) because by the end of the day we'd spent $350 (including an online purchase) on the most amazingly pretty clothes, um, ever. ;__; omg.

On our second trip to Nordstrom, I unfortunately passed by the Religion/Ed Hardy section and had to stop just to touch the Religion jeans because omfg Religion jeans, and then I was blubbering to my mother about how great they are only, lol, they're $260! In other news...can we say webcomic high? I think I've read 8 new ones in the past 5 hours. And I caught up with all of them. So Common So Cheap is pretty amazing though I don't get a lot of the stereotypes and the music but the art is great and the characters are lovable. Alternate is insanely HILARIOUS and the characters are so insanely charming and the art is pretty amazing too. I also read some other ones but they weren't as awesome as the ones linked. C:

Lately I've been noticing I've been on a slash kick. It might have started with MLIB but recently, I've been enjoying a lot of things with the slash. Webcomics for the most part are the majority but I watched a French musical called "Les Chansons d'Amour" (Love Songs) because I thought the pretty icon (*points up!*) was pretty gorgeous. (The movie was...good. Just really weird.) All the manga/manhwa/whatever-comics I've been reading and/or downloading or want to download because of their titles turn out to be slashtastic. The majority of them have been pretty good too. :'D

Watched Code Blue ep 2!  God, I love this drama regardless of who is in it.  Okay, so I am watching it for Pi. =P  BUT STILL!  I LOVE MEDICAL DRAMAS.  Some people might not be able to stand the blood and gore of a hospital but I live in America where the more blood, the more fun. D:  I predict some Yamapi x Aragaki in later episodes but who knows.  Maybe it's just my imagination.

As per our custom, my sister and I were watching Naruto today.  We used to watch it every Friday while having ramen but we got bored and annoyed at the lack of plot and stopped for a while.  However, we are now continuing and trying to catch up with the series (on ep 59 now!).  SADJFKLS;FJ KISHIMOTO-SENSEI, YOU SUCK FOR DRAGGING IT OUT SO LONG! HSJ on Music Station seemed...messy.  Or maybe I'm just really jealous of all the fangirls surrounding them.  Either way, I liked the first performance better, but I like their shirts in this one. :D  They had silver shirts in the first one but in this one they had either metallic green or orange.  Much better~  I was sad at the very uneven screentime.  Pretty much ZERO shots of Keito and Inoo and very few of Ryutaro, Yuto, and Hikaru.  Takaki, Ryosuke, Chinen, Daiki, and Yabu had a decent amount of time although Takaki and Ryosuke still had the most.  Even Yuto, who used to be soooooo popular has less spotlight! :'(

Almost done with the next chapter of Twilight Lovers!  I changed the layout for shekushi since I felt it wasn't colorful enough.  That reminds me, I totally need a new layout here. =__=;

♣ I'm applying for a couple of jobs at my local high school district for the fall semester, "Library Assistant" and "Instructional Specialist," neither of which require certification of any kind. I don't want to teach, but these would probably be good jobs until I graduate and hopefully get a real job in the spring. I have to do separate applications for the two positions, but I've never really done this before. Should I submit a cover letter with them? If so, should I do two separate cover letters, two copies of the same letter, or what? *so lost* Help.

♣ What I really can't help wanting to do in the spring before I start a *gasp* career is go to Japan, probably to teach English. But several factors are stopping me at the moment from actually doing that.

♣ I realized something last night as I was watching an interesting and well-acted Japanese movie called "Like Grains of Sand." The Japanese have mastered like no other country I know the art of portraying people as they would act in real life as accurately as possible. I don't think Hollywood even knows what that means anymore.

♣ GAH NEED MONEY PLEASE. SO BROKE. I want to cry when I look at my checking account.

It took me 3 days. THREE DAYS PEOPLE! IT'S THAT HARD!

At this rate, it's going to take me a month to record all of Massu's parts completely.

And don't tell me you can do it in one go. Have you even tried to sing it properly? Massu's voice knows no bounds. Сериал очень приятный, спокойный, тогда ещё не изобрели толерантности, периодически шутят о чём попало, считают телевизор бесполезной штукой, а радио - двигателем рекламы. Люди ходят в дорогих костюмах, а их жены - ой мамочки... Платья совершенно очаровательные, причёски заставляют нервно грызть ногти и подсчитывать, во сколько это она должна была встать, если муж только проснулся, а она уже в чистом платьице с чем-то очаровательно заверченным на голове, в доме порядок, занавески выглажены, обед на десять персон + дети - приготовлен. У жены, кстати, нервы и депрессия, а он с друзьями упражняется в словестности размышляет, психотерапевты - это всего лишь модно или всё-таки поможет? А ещё курят все повально, включая сильно беременных.

Отчего мы позорились-то? Ах, да. Английский там сложный. И, может, не словами или выражениями, а тем, как они говорят. Ритм какой-то другой. Слова понимаешь, предложения понимаешь, а диалог в голове не увязывается. Так что просмотр периодически прерывался криками: "Ой! Ой, Ирка, гордимся, мы шутку поняли!"

Got the first batch of photos in one of the boxes that have arrived already so I decided to scan them yesterday. All of these are of Arashi and as such are filled to the brim with gay and rainbows. :)

Before the new reprints totally finished, I was able to snag an old school "Paradise Kiss" volume four with everyone's transexual Isabella. (Crossdresser Isabella may be but if I have learned something from MLIB, people do not have to be crossdressers or they have to be born of the right gender and Isabella identifies more as a female so god dammit, she is a female!)

I have no clue where it is right now which ultimately makes me uber-sad because I just want to reread the bittersweetness of all my "Paradise Kiss" volumes, even the first volume that makes me cringe because I loathe Caroline for the first couple of chapters.

The next volume of "Forest of Gray City" comes out in a couple of weeks and my first volume of it has been read and referenced and admired so many times in the past year that the covers are all doggy-eared.

The art is beautiful beautiful beautiful and so almost realistic and the characters are the lack of anything in "Forest of Gray City" is what makes it so great and for some odd reason, I can't bring myself to do another reread as of right now.

After being so happy about my art a couple of days ago, I kind have found myself in an art depression. 8'D FTW. But I do think that this is my (bi-/tri-)weekly art style moping time.

IN OTHER NEWS, I'M ALREADY HALFWAY THROUGH MY SUMMER READING FOR ENGLISH? I seriously read books quick and in like a 45-minute period, I've read the first 100 pages of "The Hitchhiker's Guide" and it is fun. <3 It's all a blur though. 8'D I might have to reread to actually do my English journal on it.

Like the actual book. (AURON COULD BE JOSEPH. I CAN SEE IT NOW: HIM THREATENING PEOPLE AND "BAPTIZING" THEM.)

Moving on...yay for webcomics. C: New webcomics love from HONEYDEW SYNDROME, which has a paperback that I'm totally sending money for once I find two stamps, and THIS IS NOT FICTION, which I'm currently reading right now.

I think I've read HoneySyn about...2 times so far. :'D I just wish there was more so I could totally go through marathons a la My Life In Blue (and have subsequent fangirling about main character and the boy who likes him) but if I got the book, I could probably fangirl the art and the characters anywhere.

Since I'm off to college, I don't have a particular summer reading list because I'm not taking an English class.  However, I found some interesting books to read that have some fun, fantastical scenes about love.  I will probably jot down a bunch of quotes tomorrow that might help me in writing my fics.  What I love most about reading is how it gives me an excuse to not do chores and hide in my room all the time.
