Okay guys, we still don't ave enough entries for the Calvin and Hobbes in the Movies Challenge, and I leave the country in 6 days. So I am going to leave the challenge open until early July, with a new rule that you can enter as many icons as you like. Hopefully 5 weeks will give us some entries! :-) I'll be back sooner than you think, hope to see some icons then! :-) -Brit

We need more votes on the Dinosaur Discovery Challenge, and the new challenge has started: Calvin and Hobbes in the Movies Challenge! So far we don't have any entries, but I think there is a lot of room for some cool icons. Hope to see some soon!

This round will be a second attempt of a previous challenge-Calvin and Hobbes in the Movies! Last time I tried this I gave you one movie to quote with any C&H image. This time use any movie you feel so led to use, but no TV shows! Just movies! A good source for movie quotes is www.imdb.com, where they have lists of memorable quotes for every movie imaginable. Any Calvin and Hobbes related image is cool, using Susie or Mom or Dad or Miss Wormwood-whatever. Our memories are full of strips, and here are some below also. I am so sorry I've been gone forever! I took an unannounced vaca, and am back, ready to run icontests like normal. Hope you guys are still out there, wanting to make icons! :-) Our last challenge didn't have any entries, so we're trying again-hope you guys are out there, looking forward to the icons!

Our challenge will be Dinosaur Discovery! Below the link are ten strips in a story, and the theme is using any of these strips. You can use just the images, just the words-whatever you like. We didn't get any entries but mine for the texture challenge, so I am retiring it. I know everyone is busy, and I have been absent myself with school and work, so I'm extending this next challenge and making another change or two. Maybe this way everyone can get in an icon, if not a few! :-) Our current challenge is A Calvin and Hobbes Christmas!. Some of my favorite strips are those with Calvin writing to Santa, and I never see enough C&H icons for the holiday. Below are bunches of Xmas C&H, please ONLY USE THE STRIPS BELOW. We're trying something new this round, again inspired by the oh-so-clever zanisha from my other community sp_icontest. This round is a Texture Challenge! You can use any image and any texture, no text though. I know we haven't done a technique theme before, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
