cg_icontest, an icontest that allows various icon styles, from animated to silent (text-free). This place is for people who like the anime or manga, Code Geass. We are your friendly neighbourhood mods:

R U L E S

o1. Icon(s) must be 100x100 or smaller and no larger than 40kb. Must also be in gif, png, and jpeg format.
o2. No fanart/doujinshi/any non-official images allowed.
o3. Icon should be new and no more than seven days old. It should also be (obviously) made by you.
o4. You are not allowed advertise or exhibit the icon(s) you submit in any way until the results are out.
o5. Please upload your icon(s) to a host (like Photobucket or Imageshack) that allows direct linking and leave it up until voting begins.
o6. Please do not complain if your icon does not win.
o7. If you use any of the icons that appear in this community, please ask the creator for permission and give proper credit.
o8. You are allowed to combine themes and submit up to three icons.

S U B M I S S I O N

o1. The three themes are posted Sunday night (around 6pm PST or later), and for the duration for the week, you are given time to make and submit your icons, to a maximum of three. The themes are Word, Image, and Lyrical, which allows for variety in entries. Icons can be any combination of the three given themes.
o2. The submission phase usually ends at Saturday, at the very latest 12pm PST, unless a proper extension is posted to let the participants know.
o3. Please submit your entry in the following format:

If you would like to suggest a theme (song, image or general), please leave a comment here.

V O T I N G

o1. First, you must be a member of the community, else the vote will be discarded.
o2. Voting will occur from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.
03. Vote for three favourite icons in the order of which you preferred them most, and one icon for the Special Category (which will be different every week).
Example:

First: 84
Second: 110
Third: 841
SC: 8351

or

48, 10, 8541
85431 (SC below the rest)

Please do not choose any of the icons you already voted for the Special Category.

After the votes have been tallied, the winners will be announced. The banner-makers will make banners for the winners, but they must ask or it, else their banner will not be made.
