| About: | Childfree is a term which expresses a life-long commitment to not having children. If you have given birth to or fathered any children, adopted any children, or plan to do any of these some day, please look into other relationship communities. This is a haven for members of the childfree community to discuss relationships, marriages, partnerships, and any issues therein without wading through posts about future or current children. It is also to give those people in the CF communities who aren't in relationships a break from all our lovey-doveyness. :) So go ahead and post cute pictures of you and your partner(s), your pets, talk about birth control issues, bingoing inlaws or parents, CF wedding/handfasting plans, plans to never get married, and generally how great it is to find CF love! We don't need to have kids to prove our love for each other, and the "right person" has the same goals and dreams as we do. And those dreams do not involve having children. The rules are simple: 1. If you are not childfree, you will be banned because this is, in fact, a childfree community. Likewise if you hate romantic relationships or are here to be rude about the decisions of other people, you will be banned. This community is for childfree people who are in commited relationships only. 2. Please respect the lifestyle choices of others, regardless of sexual orientation, legal status of the relationship, etc. 3. Try to stay on topic, though this can cover a wide range of issues, as mentioned above. If in doubt, see the next rule. 4. Master the subtle art of the lj cut. There are tutorials on this if you look under "help". If you are posting a long story or large images, please use one.
