Which was the first one, before I had gotten the whole desktop recording thing going.

Both those drawings are characters in my upcoming webcomic, Kentauroi. 2 of the (4) star characters are centaurs (also elves, humans, goblins)

Now, if anyone had heard of it, and wondered what happened... (doubtful, but you never know) I had some other things I wanted to get out of the way so i wouldn't have multiple things pressing on me, and I wanted to make sure the story was *perfect*, worked out in every detail, so I don't write myself in a corner. I figured it was better to have it delayed before it ever gets going than to have late pages a few months down the line, so it went on the back burner for a while. But it will be coming, If you'd like updates, I will be making updates on its progress in my LJ.

Jordaens was a Flemish Baroque painter; contemporary of Rubens. He did a series of frescoes for an astrological ceiling, and Sagittarius is a rather handsome centaur.

Just saw a commercial for Old Spice Double Impact. The main character is a pretty well done centaur. He's pony-sized, and towards the end appears with a human woman.

Well think about it, when guys get drunk they get 'experimental' and so many horses are just too horny to care about gender issues so, when two of your atypical brawling drinking male Centaurs end up accidentally intimate what do you think happens?

I'm currently working on a large project to formalise my fantasy environments into a set of Graphic Novels and thought I'd inform you all of the preliminary works for the main Centaur population.

Something I rarely see is clothed Centaurs, and it does have difficulties since fashion has never really been developed for horses as it has humans. However, below is my attempt at a sketch of a Spanish Tudor inspired outfit on a Centaur who is marching toward the viewer.

I'm sure the anatomy still needs fixing somewhat, but it gives an idea of what I'm doing.

Done with a Ball-point pen. I feel bad about the lossy scan; IT's done with a hp printer/scaner combo thing. She's done some comic panels,with Centaurs, but: a) they are in storage. b)this scaner is too small.. :(

For some reason are centaurs usually drawn nude or mostly-nude (bottomless!) Perhaps due to the complication of drawing clothes on a horse-body...I found a nice, well-dressed centaur-family however,..Done by the cool ninetenth-century sci-fi artist Albert Robida !
