Actually, I don't think I've had anything turnip based recently. I remember them being somewhat spicy. Or maybe that's radish.
Most vegetables shouldn't be made into juice.

They're mostly bitter, somewhat pungent in flavor.

Radishes are a bit spicier, but depending on your proclivities, much more flavorful.

Neither should be carved into Ukrainian presidents! :P

I once had carrot juice. I nearly vomited.
Vegetables should only be drunk (drank?) if mixed with vast amounts of tomato juice, which is a fruit, despite what my senior kindergarten teacher told me.

Heh, to each their own. :)
Though is someone carved vegetables to look like east european leaders, that would be cool. I would eat those vegetables. I would be ingesting communism.
