Welcome to Celebrity Icon Challenge, yet another one of the icon challenges on LJ that you see popping up all over. This challenge features celebrities of all sorts- actresses, singers, socialites, etc.- which spices it up a bit as opposed to challenges that focus only on one individual. You don't need to be an absolutely spectacular icon maker here, as long as you give it your best effort. So please JOIN NOW and support le challenge! :D


THE RULES

[01] All challenges will start on Saturdays or Sundays. Voting will be up on Fridays, and voting will end Sunday afternoon. Awards and winners will be up shortly thereafter.

[02] Please respect all icon makers and do not insult them in any way, shape, or form. They put effort into their work, so do not disrespect them or you will be banned.

[03] Members do not have posting access. All entries will be sub- mitted by commenting on the challenge entry. Comments are screened to prevent members from voting based on the maker.

[04] All submitted entries cannot be displayed anywhere else until voting has ended for the same reason as #3.

[05] All entries must fit LJ userpic requirements; 40KB and 100x100. Please do not animate your entries.

[06] Please use only your work and entirely your work. Do not edit bases that were already made or have someone else make your icon.

[07] Only submit one icon per challenge unless otherwise stated by me, nepachicka19.

[08] This is not a community for sharing icons- do not steal icons made by other users unless they have personally given you permiss- ion to do so.

THE ENTRIES

To aid everyone who is new to icon challenges, here is an example of what your entry should look like when you comment on the Challenge post with it:

THE VOTING

[01] Typically, voting is posted on Friday night or Saturday morning.

[02] When voting, there will always be a regular category featuring all submitted icons. Make sure you always vote for THREE icons unless otherwise stated. Please do not vote for any more or any less.

[03] There will always be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Additionally, there will be a Mod's Choice (self-explanatory), when there are three or more icons that did not place in any other category.

[04] Voting ends Sunday afternoon. At this time, the voting will close (I will edit the voting entry to inform you of this). Winners' awards should be up by Sunday night.
