New DVD release!
Here's a news snippet I found in my internet wadings(and I do a lot) ;)

A new DVD boxed-set release, this is a US release, and the due shipping date is July6th 04, so it's still not fully available yet, but it can be preordered!
Cyber City DVD Collection(Hyb)

Here is the Central Park Media CCO DVD release as well as they are the main publishers.

Might be awhile before it gets to NZ I suppose! :P

Just look at the box coverart though..gah, pretty darn cheesy and not even by the original artists(I expect) as it's not near stylish enough.
Part 1(Time Bomb)??
Part 2(Decoy)???
Part 3(Vampire)?!?

And as for the corny title changes, don't even go there.. I mean they do match up, but talk about blunt and lack of imagination and style! *lol*

Alright, maybe I'm being a little harsh there, but still all the early releases had pretty fab artwork, these seemed to be left to someone else to quickly work in and hope nobody notices. I know one or two people who could have done this way better...

Okay that aside, I think having the directors(Yoshiaki Kawajiri) commentary(and I hope it's different for each of the three series) will be a great bonus(especially if they add subtitles :D), plus there is a mention of sketch and image galleries as well, cool. Okay so I wasn't expecting a lot of extras since Cyber City has been around for a long time now, so I think that might make it worth while! The actual shows themselves should still be as good as they always were! :D (For me, I'd love to have it in my collection right this minute(I have the compilation vid only).. but I'll have to wait :P)
