Cyber City Oedo PC Engine game. Paradise Green he yo u ko so Vol 9 by Ohgonseitokai [10 Jul 2007|10:34pm] fubuki_fan I didn't think I'd be able to get hold of this so quickly but..here it is :) I'm pleasantly surprised it is Vol 9 of the cco series by Ohgonseitokai and not another copy of "Original Number" as I had feared :) I'm not certain what the exact name of the book is but the first words are "Paradise Green" which is easier to remember :) All the pages are in the order in which they appear in the book. I've been a fan of Cyber City OEDO 808 for years now, ever since I happened to see it on the Action channel, and I'm glad to have finally found a community of people who appreciate it. Sadly, I don't have anything to contribute right now, but I will (hopefully) be getting the anime soon. I might be able to make some icons then. I've been wanting to ask though... does anybody here have the soundtrack? I only have the opening and the ending right now, but I really love the music and would like to be able to listen to other tracks. Cyber City Oedo Vol. 5 April 1991 [01 Jun 2007|11:08pm] fubuki_fan [ mood | hot ] This doushinji has a transparent plastic cover. The artwork on the first and last page can be seen through the cover so I thought I'd scan them for you to see.. I put a sheet of paper under the cover so you can see it more clearly. And again.. The picture visable through the back cover The good news is that this was made by the same people who advertised the "Baby Pink" doushinji next to the Benten portrait in "Original Number". Which means that as "Baby Pink" was Vol. 10 there are at least another 8 doushinji out there somewhere..hopefully.. The bad news is this doushinji was fine when I got it, but just a few scans of the inside pages have seen the binding start to split and the cover come off.. Still I'd much rather share it! :P :) All the pages are in the order they appear in the book. However I have edited out non CCO808 adverts. Some of the pages are hosted by Photobucket others by Livejournal which is why there is a discrepancy with the sizes displayed on the screen. More from the CCO 808 "Original Number" Doushinji [28 May 2007|11:02am] fubuki_fan [ mood | chipper ] Here is a lovely portrait of Benten and next to it an advert for another doushinji. It has the words "baby pink" written in katakana which, I'm wondering, if that is a title? I've tried searching for it in combinations with CCO 808 but no luck.. :( It also has Vol. 10 on it! *brain goes into over drive* :D Does this mean that there are at least 10 different doushinjis out there?!?!? CCO 808 "Original Number" Doushinji Book [13 May 2007|04:05pm] fubuki_fan [ mood | curious ] Also before christmas I saw this on a Japanese auction. Front cover Back Cover I could not believe my eyes and was a bit suspicous of it because as anyone who has ever searched for Cyber City Oedo 808 items on the internet you can come up with all sorts of daft items such as Hamster wheels (!?), games that can only be played on Japanese mobile phones and Japanese pop records.. I tried doing a bit of research on it but could find almost nothing on it :( Only one other copy has been for sale on Yahoo Japan within the last year. Anyway to cut a long story short I bought it of course! :D What's inside.. There are two b&w illustrated yaoi stories and standard story. There are a couple of b&w drawings* and one colour rendition* of Benten as well as other bits and pieces such as the usual character bios that have been copied off the videos and a little bit of information about CCO 808 merchandise and an advert* for another Cyber City Oedo 808 fanbook. * which I will scan and post here. The first and main yaoi story is by Es Libido, an early '90's yaoi team that had quite a number of artists and writers. I'm hoping this information is correct as I could find nothing in english so please all you boffins out there do correct me if I'm wrong.. For this project Yamaai Shikiko 山藍紫姫子, Takeda Yayoi 竹田やよい and 邦久十也, 清家和彦, neither of whom I can find the romanji for their names, came together. Yamaai Shikiko is easily the most famous amongst the group for her long running "Walkure" yaoi manga, now in it's 26th book! :0 The first story is a non-consensual hardcore yaoi tale involving Es Libido's renditon of Benten, Sengoku and Hasegawa. It's the only Benten cel I have ever seen for sale* so I was very lucky to be able to get hold of it :D I wasn't even looking for one at the time!
