Big Brother 10 Update: April and Ollie


April and Ollie are still together, says April on her recent myspace blog. She thanks everyone for their support of her ebay items--proceeds went to the Sharing Down Syndrome of Arizona Foundation. April says the big brother experience has been full of ups and downs but she's learned alot about herself through the process.

"Lastly, to the fans of Big Brother 10 I would just like to say thank you again. I would like to thank you for all the positive feedback and mostly like to thank you for the negative comments. Although very difficult to hear about it gives me an entirely different outlook on the way I acted in the BB house. I apologize if I offended anyone because it was not my intentions. I walked into an unfamiliar house with 12 unfamiliar people with no other contacts and a stressful environment and the only goal was to do anything or say anything to win $500,000 you will tend to see an ugly side of yourself. The entire cast of "Big Brother 10" are some truly amazing people. I have had the fortunate opportunity to stay in contact with some of the cast. For the ones that I have not spoken to since the show has ended I hope all is well and I am wishing you the very best."

Who Do You Plan To Vote For In The 2008 Presidental Election?

Discuss if you wish, but let's not make it personal. That's what I've always loved about this community, is that no one, despite their differences of opinions, ever got personal about a disagreement they have had and attacked someone else. The candidates are fair game, but let's remember we are ALL "joe six pack". Although let's face it, Joe Six Pack probably looks like this, but I wish he looked more like this.

Whatever your stance, please vote. Think about it, this is a historical time. Whoever wins, out of the two major parties, will either have a black man or a woman in office. We live in historic times. Be a part of it by voting. A lot of the states are still allowing people to register to vote by October 20th, so you still have a chance to be part of the process this year. I'm not preaching, just encouraging everyone to get out there this year, so please don't take it as a soap box moment.

I usually don't take part in the polls. I hit "Submit" without answering, so the results show up for me without my vote being in there. But I'll be voting in this one. ;-)

Official Contest Rules

As most of you know, I only latched onto watching Big Brother in season 8, and even that was after watching the Big Brother After Dark show, and that got me interested in the regular show. I noticed the other day that Men of Big Brother on YouTube has uploaded season seven, also knows as Big Brother All Stars.

The first four episodes are missing, so I'm starting on episode five. This is where the house guests are woken up every 15 minute with house calls the night before the POV. Janelle is the HOH and has nominated Boogie and Erika.

I don't know anything about this season, but I do understand these are all former house guests. I know who Will, Boogie, Janelle, Howie, Kaysar, George, and Marcellas are too.

Right now they are playing the electric chair power of veto, and Will has been eliminated. I'll watch the rest of the season over the next couple of days, although I know who wins this season. ;-)

I love the Mac computer voice used for the announcer in the POV.
