About
We have set up this community for cats and their humans who are against declawing cats. This procedure is illegal in many countries around the world, but is still very much "acceptable" in the United States and Canada. We feel that declawing is a barbaric, unnatural, unnecessary and totally selfish (from a human point of view) procedure that we are seeking to outlaw planet-wide. Click on the links below to find out the details of what declawing a cat entails - if you have the stomach for it!

Anything silly - cool - pretty - mad - artistic - cute would be great!
Just a few rules:
- You are only welcome if your human is anti-declawing
- You must have claws yourself - however, kitties who were adopted already declawed by their present human who is anti-declawing are also welcome.
- Talk about declawing or related stuff. Other subjects are not welcome (except e.g. "I have a new cat" or "I need some advice that´s not exactly declawing related"). Go and find another community if you are, for example, anti-neutering and wish to discuss that.
- No flaming other members please! Keep it friendly.
- Keep photos to a reasonable size (about 640 x 480 pixels max), or if posting large or multiple piccies put them behind an lj-cut (more info on how to do this is HERE).
