Catalyst Studios is a fine art collective in Seattle, Washington.

This is a community for its members and assistants, as well as its fans and friends (collectively known as "The Grief Squad" or "Griefies", whether they like it or not) to post and discuss RELEVANT art, events, and news.

Current ACTIVE members of Catalyst Studios are:

Ann Koi, co-founder, current owner of the business license and properties. Painter & assemblage artist. Paintings in gallery MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR ALL AGES.

Jason Soles, co-founder. Sculptor.

William Movish, original member from the dark ages (1999!) is currently inactive but now living in England so that has to be leading to some kind of creation down the road.


POSTING AND REPLYING RULES

• Keep it relevant, please. Adverts for most communities are NOT relevant and will be dashed to pieces on the black rocks below. Relevant topics include but are not limited to: finds of materials you want to offer to CS members and affiliates, discoveries of good places to try and get work shown, things you'd like to see happen related to Catalyst works and events, Meat Baseball photographs, other Events photographs, product sightings, photographs of Catalyst products finding a creative use somewhere, other anomalous sightings which somehow have relevance, links to things Catalyst and its fans might find interesting, questions or anecdotes regarding any of the above, and, of course, direct discussions of member artworks and shows.
