Current mood: drained

I had to have my 16 year old cat Kreuser put to sleep this morning. I'd like to ask if all devotees of Bast/Bastet could send a little prayer for him that his soul makes it safely to her. It would mean so much to me.

the candle for Kreuser is on, along with the prayer - I'm sure that our Lady Bast will be happy to meet him!

(my feline counterpart went this way a couple of months ago and I fully understand what it means to lose your feline friend... :'(

bastet - the great lady who curls among the stars - kreuser has gone there to curl up with her, so when you look up at those stars - remember he's looking down upon you

So sorry. I lost my familiar, Fred, last Feb. 20th to chronic renal failure...we had been giving him subq fluids at home for awhile. We knew we had to put him to sleep, because he was suffering so much, but that didnt make it any easier. It made me feel better to make a final resting place for his ashes, and he is on our altar with Bastet. A candle has been lit to Bastet for your Kreuser's passing. Bright Blessings to you. SalemsMom
