About

Casus Belli RPG

It only takes one mishap to change one’s life forever: The larger the mishap, the bigger the change, and nothing can ever be undone. To deal with, to suppress desires, to resist temptation, it is all within the power of the heart and mind. But hearts are full of memories but not all of them reflect the truth. The heart isn't a recording device, even important memories change with time. They warp or fade, leaving with but a shadow of what one hoped to remember…

L Lawliet had known the Kira case would take his life, and he had been willing to lay it down, peacefully so, for the sake of solving it. He was going to prove Light Yagami was Kira, there was no doubt in his mind that he was. All he needed was evidence. Not even the thirteen day rule had been able to sway his belief; it had just made him doubt his actions.

If the person using the note fails to write the names of people to be killed within 13 days of each other, then the user will die.

If that rule were true, then in 13 days Beyond Birthday would die. If it were false, Beyond Birthday would live and Light Yagami would become Justice’s number one suspect once again.

If Beyond Birthday lived, that gave L Lawliet only 15 days to solve the case.

December 3rd, L Lawliet will die peacefully in his sleep.

After convincing the criminally insane mimic to write his death, Lawliet placed his life on the fine ropes of Death to prove that Light Yagami was, indeed, Kira. Agreeing, regardless that he could possibly be signing his life away, Beyond Birthday had promised to do as he was told; promised as long as he could go home and return home to Wammy’s House.

L Lawliet had agreed.

November 5th, those words were written the exact time the Shinigami Rem wrote down L Lawliet’s name, and act committed to save Misa Amane; an act that canceled out Lawliet’s chance to die.

If writing the same name on more than two Death Notes is completed within a 0.06 – second difference, it is regarded as simultaneous; the Death Note will not take effect and the individual written will not die.

Unaware that his life had been accidentally saved, Justice picked his Successor, The SPK was born, and the race to discover Kira’s true identity began. Summary
