AboutThis community is for people who would like to share and participate with other bento lunch eaters. Your bento doesn't have to be the world's cutest. Your box doesn't have to be the most authentic. The main requirement is that you enjoy your lunch and are pleased with it.
Wikipedia states that, "it is still considered an essential skill of a Japanese housewife to be able to prepare an appealing boxed lunch."
