| About: |  Forged from the furnace of fame and fortune, the castle, once a proud emblem of Britishness, survivor of countless seiges, raids, and other stuffits (not to mention a World War bombing!), has now been relegated to the role of a Canadian/American/(insert nationality here) Island. This is not to be confused with the Island of Misfit Toys, which is something different all together, and involves much more claymation. Thus the castle lives on in classes of relative craziness, and parties of even less sense. But if you are here (or were), you probably already know that. So give a shout out to that good old castle in the clouds (read: infected moat with mutated sea bass), and relive the glories of Herstmonceux. Or the ducks will eat you. True story.
