Critical Myth Review: Lost 4.1: "Something Nice Back Home"
The episodes focusing on relationships have never been my particular favorites, and that has continued to be true in this season as well.  The exceptions have been the episodes that start with the relationships but diverge into new areas of the mythology.  That's very much the case in this episode, so it managed to transcend my initial skepticism.

Lost 4.10: "Something Nice Back Home"

Overall, while the focus was more or less on the endless love polygon, the underlying ramifications gave that focus an interesting new twist.  As always, the writers are challenging the devoted fans to go back to previous episodes with the more complete context in mind.  The path to the finale is still front and center, and the storytelling is more confident than it has been in a very long time.
