21 august 2005: i just finished issue 5 of "cartography for beginners" zine, and i think you might want in on this. it's full of the silliness you've come to know and love, and this one's got a complete history of my neighbors (in which i rate them and give them final grades), funny pictures, the ultimate pizza scam attempt story from my friend sarah who works at a pizza place, and more. the middle half is a special section for my "morrissey tour diary 2004," as i saw morrissey nine times in six different cities last year and was even able to meet him, and this part of the zine details the highs and lows of my experience. (i really think that even those of you who don't like morrissey will enjoy reading it, as it's a chronicle of stalking* at its finest.)this issue is 1/4 sized and comes correct with 52 pages, a morrissey centerfold, and lovely full-color covers, and can be yours for $2.50 (plus postage) from http://store.emotionlotion.org/zines.php. *(this is a joke, by the way. i wasn't dressing up like a hotel maid or anything to get into his room like people on "saved by the bell" would do, so don't get all worried and tell me i "probably scared him" like some people already have. jeez criminy.) |
