Heheh.

Well, yup, this is a new thing for me. I've written things in private journals before, and keep a DJ/friends one over at sistercarrion. This, however is intended to be different. A public journal for fiction, poems, essays and ramblings. It's intended to be as open access as possible, so please feel free to say hi, comment, suggest, introduce yourselves and friend this community if you'd like to.

If anyone has any nice graphics skills at the moment, I could really do with a hand, as I've no idea how to design custom stuff on LJ. Gratitude, thanks and credit will surely follow, and Cap'n Jack will ask to see you in his office if you're really good!

Comment!porn is encouraged. Constructive criticism, advice, offers to beta, thoughts, ideas all more than welcome here! I'm hoping that by writing something regularly, it'll help improve my writing. It's something I've enjoyed doing in the past. I have always been very nervous about anyone seeing what I've written, however, but I hope to remedy this to some degree. I'm hoping with the advice and assistance of some people more experienced than me, it will help to hone the ideas I have into something readable.

A few notes to consider.
Warnings on content will be on each piece of writing if I deem it necessary. PLEASE please heed these. I know people who have some touchy trigger subjects (myself included) who are likely to read, so please be safe.

There will also be adult themes discussed on this community.

Due to medication messing with my short term memory, sometimes I can be erratic with my spelling and grammar patterns. PLEASE if you see any faults there when reading, could you let me know? Spellcheck only covers so much. As a former English tutor, this is incredibly frustrating for me, but it does happen, so, yeah, cover my back guys? My writing will thank you for it!

Please don't copy and paste, pass off as your own work, or hotlink anything. Common sense, but sometimes it needs to be said. Feel free to point people here however, and linking to the community is all good.

I'm a pretty friendly sod, and would really appreciate comments, even if it's just to say you've read something. Feedback is good stuff.
