2008 sucked, and while we're a little behind, it's time to ring in 2009 and spring (at least in the northern hemisphere) on a happier note. So beanpot and splash_the_cat invite you all here to carnivalofsquee for a multifandom celebration of glee. We want to see comment fic about your favorite characters and pairings, being happy, having fun, and sharing their joy.

We'll be following a model like the Porn Battle, with a week for submission of prompts, and then after we get the prompts sorted and posted, a week for a gleeful extravaganza of comment fic.

Submissions are now open for the Secondary Characters Carnival of Squee!


The supporting cast of SG-1 was the overwhelming choice for the next carnival. So send us links to your fic, icons, wallpapers, fanmixes, poems, vids, meta - anything that celebrates the squee for those characters who make the show even more awesome but don't get enough of the limelight. We want to see you embrace your glee for General Hammond, Janet, Jacob, Bra'tac, Siler, Cassie, Walter, Sha're, Dr. Lee, SG-3... the list goes on. Want to wax rhapsodic about their contributions to the SGC? Want to give them a hug? Want to tell us how much you love them and why? Want to celebrate what they bring to the show, even when they're behind the scenes? Please do! And we'll collect it all in one post for maximum squeeage.

You may submit a link to any new item, or any item that has been posted within the last six months, that fits the theme and promotes the squee.
