The Quidditch Pitch has quite a few brilliant writers. We'd like to encourage those of you who also write original works to take a look at Tears of the Phoenix Anthologies.

A little bit about group:
Tears of the Phoenix, a literary charitable organization, is accepting submissions for their current anthology.

This project, which will benefit the Rebuild New Orleans Public Library, was inspired by their expereinces at Phoenix Rising. As such, they are looking for Harry Potter fans interested in publishing original works inspired by prompts from New Orleans librarians.

Submissions will be accepted through December 1, 2007, and selected stories will be announced February 1, 2008. The book (which will be available through Amazon and Borders) will be published in June 2008, with ALL profits going to Rebuild New Orleans Public Library.

Why get involved? Because fandom cares, and together we can make a difference, because a book can change a life.
