So there's this thing happening in fandomsecrets where people comment with a crossover that they want to see happen. Other people can reply with art, fic, whatever. hippiebohochick asked for Captain Jack Sparrow and The Dread Pirate Roberts. I could not resist drawing a comic. This is my first time drawing either of them. Blurryness because I had to take a picture of the drawing. Scanner is broken. snow_vs_asphalt fixed all the awful shadows from the camera because she is made of win and awesome.

Friday I finally saw the first new Torchwood episode.

Ever since they introduced Jack in DW, I've been wanting them to bring in another time agent, so that made me really happy. They kept teasing us by making us think they were going to tell us something important about Jacks past, but then they never did. I'm kind of impressed that they kept the suspense like that, but I also feel kind of cheated.

I wonder why they had JM doing a British accent. What was the point in that? Maybe he just wanted to prove he could do a real one, although I thought he covered that in the "flashback" episode of BtVS. (WTF was the name of that episode? Where Buffy wants Spike to tell her how he killed the previous Slayers?)

Gwen still annoys me. And she and Jack have less chemistry with each other than they do with anyone else on the show.

Also? I now officially ship John/Tosh.

A/N: This is the scene I'd like to see, but probably won't, though considering Justin and Brian on QAF, why the hell not? Here's hoping RTD raises the bar and lowers the pants.

“Did you miss me?” John was so close, their chests were touching, his head tilted back to make eye contact and that infuriating smirk on his face. Funny how obnoxious that question was coming from someone else, especially this particular someone else.

“Did I mention I’m armed?”

Everyone in the bar had frozen when the light seared through the room, dazed and blinded, but as vision cleared enough to focus, the place erupted in fleeing patrons, women screaming, men tripping over chairs trying to get to the exit.

Par for the course when John entered a room.

“Still the drama queen, I see,” Jack said, surveying the man in front of him, not much changed since the last time. Well, he had clothes on now, but the same cocky set of the head and fuck you blue eyes. Yeah, when they weren’t fuck me blue eyes. And didn’t that bring back a flood of memories.

John holstered the guns and swaggered toward him, arms wide, an absurdly long sabre swaying as he strode forward. Typical little man stance, except this one could take apart a squadron without breaking a sweat.

“Did you miss me?” John was so close, their chests were touching, his head tilted back to make eye contact and that infuriating smirk on his face. Funny how obnoxious the question was coming from someone else, especially this particular someone else.

Jack drew in a breath to answer and expelled it in an explosive burst as a fist hit his solar plexus and he was knocked back, smashing into a table and coming to a flailing thud on the floor.

What the fuck?

“Hey!” But he had no time for any further commentary. John was mid-flight, coming in like a maniacally grinning cannonball. Jack rolled and heard the satisfying crash as John hit the ground hard, skidding along the floor, yelling a curse so obscene it was banned in several galaxies.

Jack bounced to his feet, already sprinting to the sprawled time agent/supreme pain-in-the ass climbing onto hands and knees. He caught him a full on blow to the back of the neck, flattening him under his full weight, arm around his throat.

“You little fucker.” He jerked up sharply, causing a stifled gasp, followed by a tumultuous wriggling between his thighs. “What the hell’s wrong with you? Stay down.” He hit the back of John’s head with his closed fist.

Feeling struggles cease, Jack lessened the pressure so the other man could breathe. Bad idea. John’s shoulders convulsed and he was free, hurling Jack onto the floor and landing a nasty kick to his ribs as he scrambled to his feet.

“Don’t call me little.” Kick, though this one only grazed Jack’s back as he rolled once more. “Not what you said the last time I….”

The comment was cut off as Jack’s fist arrived on the point of the speaker’s chin and John went flying backward, turning the momentum into a tight pirouette and flat run at Jack’s middle. They both went down, crashing through the bar and into the array of bottles, shards flying everywhere in an impressive glittering chaos of glass.

And then things got serious.

The room had emptied out, anyone with even a rudimentary sense of survival having cleared the scene ages ago. What furniture wasn’t broken was scattered in disarray as the two men hurled themselves at each other, Jack using his height and weight to overpower John, but finding himself thwarted at every turn by lightning quick reflexes and sheer bloody mindedness. Every time he got a grip on an arm or neck, John was gone again, face alight with laughter as he danced away, leaving stinging blows to Jack’s face, back and shoulders.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” Jack ground out through clenched teeth as they circled each other.

John grinned, wiping a thread of blood from his lower lip with a thumb. He was hardly even winded.

“Missed you.” John pursed his lips in a sarcastic kiss. “Thought maybe you could do with a little Captain John on your sorry arse.”

Jack circled warily, fists up, keeping a close eye on John’s shoulders. He always signaled unconsciously before he made his move.

“My ass is just fine, just so as you know. And for what it’s worth.” He launched at John’s jaw. “My ass is none of your goddamned business.”

His fist connected with a glorious, bone crunching crack and John went down as if felled, coming to rest face down among scattered drink coasters. He was clearly dazed, so Jack took his time dropping to his knees astride the prone body. Felt good. Felt familiar.

John groaned, coming to and raising himself halfway on his arms. He rubbed his jaw tentatively, feeling for loosened teeth.

“Fuck me.” He spat out some blood. “Haven’t been cold cocked like than in a coon’s age.” He tried to rise.

“Oh no, my bonnie lad.” Jack was unbuckling his belt and unzipping, pulling the front down for action. He lifted John’s body up by the back of his belt and reached round, releasing the clasp and pulling fabric down until a pale round ass was exposed.

John wriggled furiously, making a big show of trying to get free, but somehow the movement was suspiciously ineffective, serving only to further expose his neither regions.

“Get off me, you great oaf,” he growled, arching his back upward. “You’ll never take me alive, copper.” And then even he couldn’t keep it together and he started to giggle. “For fuck’s sake, get on with it.”

Jack did a quick spit lube and lined up, placing himself firmly at the spot, then pushed happily into place in a series of short thrusts.

Didn’t take long for either of them to come, John in a flurry of frantic jerks on his own cock and Jack in a barrage of ball smacking drives into the ass he’d claimed so long ago.

On huge groans of relief, they slumped into a lumpy pile on the floor, John’s eyes drifting closed in post coital stupor.

Just before he began to snore, he spoke, slurring slightly. “So how’s it going?”

Jack had to lick his lips to get enough saliva to respond.

“Good. And you?”

“Not bad.” But that was all they could manage before they fell into a doze, sweaty, bruised and utterly exhausted.

Anyway, who's seen the finale of series three of the new Doctor Who?

I'm so confused. Boe said he was the last of his kind, but we've seen humans right up until what appears to be the end of the universe.

Based on the Lady Cassandra, it makes sense that only his face would be left and that it wouldn't look very human, but why is it so huge?

Of course, I'm assuming Jack IS the Face of Boe, just because he said that. It could be a fake-out.

U gais, this new Doctor is going through companions like nobody's business. I'm glad the next one won't be as pretty and perfect as Martha, though. But I still miss Rose! NINE/ROSE 4EVAH!
