John Morrison Takes Aim At Candice Michelle

-- John Morrison and The Miz took part in the No Mercy Live Blog on the WWE Universe site last night during the pay-per-view. During the chat session, Morrison made a remark saying that Candice Michelle looks like she's had too much plastic surgery. Morrison said: "she looks like she's had way too much, plastic surgery, ... and actually when Jenny McCarthy came to WWE to support autism she thought Candace was special because of how spastically she moves." He also said she can't jump while watching her match with Beth Phoenix last night. "I think Candace is vertically challenged... I mean seriously, she can't jump!" Additionally, WWE moderates everything that gets asked, and this question actually showed up during the live blog: [Comment From Jeremy M.] "Miz and Morrison, do you guys plan on going to RAW and teaching Cryme Tyme that the Palace does not support African Americans?" Miz didn't say anything, but Morrison said: "The palace of Wisdom supports everyone.... Everyone that's not a complete douche bag, and constantly talking about all the things that wish were true."

Candice Michelle appeared on the blog earlier in the night and only stayed on for about 10 minutes to answer a handful of questions. Candice didn't really say anything of note, other than the following regarding her time off due to injury: "I went to a dark place, feeling that everything got pulled out from under my feet ... I tried the housewife stuff, but I'm a terrible cook and I hate to clean. :-)"

PORTLAND, Ore. – In a display of dominance, Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix defeated Candice Michelle with a Glam Slam to retain her gold.

Ever since The Glamazon captured the title from Mickie James at SummerSlam, she has dominated both her opponents and the opponents of her boyfriend, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella.

Tonight, her boyfriend intervened, preventing a potential pinfall. But, Marella paid for it with a hard-hitting kick from Candice. After escaping the near pinfall, The Glamazon mounted an offense that Candice could not stop.

In October 2007, Phoenix caused Candice to break her clavicle. Taking advantage of the previous injury, The Glamazon keyed in on Candice’s shoulder. Her strategy proved successful.

But, in a No Mercy Live Blog exclusively on WWE.com shortly before her match, Candice was confident she could be the one to take down The Glamazon.

“I think I'm as ready as I can be. I think my previous matches have helped me get over the fear of another injury. I'm going in with some vengeance as my motivation,” said Candice.

Despite Candice’s positive words, it was Women’s Champion Beth Phoenix who sent a message with her actions. All WWE Divas certainly took notice. The Glamazon is at the top of her game. If you want to take her down, it’s going to take action, not words.

When Beth Phoenix caused Candice Michelle to break her clavicle in October 2007, the then-Women’s Champion admitted the injury and being unable to compete took her to a “really dark place.”

Now, it’s the Candy-coated Diva’s opportunity to once again shed some bright light on her career when she battles Phoenix for the Women’s Championship at No Mercy, the very show at which The Glamazon won her first title over Candice.

Since her recent comeback, a determined Candice has already fired a shot across the bow of the S.S. Glamazon by pinning her in a Six-Diva Tag Match. Pinning Phoenix in a tag match, however, is hardly the same as tackling her one-on-one.

To quench her thirst for revenge after months on the shelf, the Candy-coated Diva will have to counter The Glamazon’s overwhelming size and strength advantage with a combination of both quickness and agility.

And while revenge is a dish best served cold, Beth may be on too much of a hot streak to oblige. Ever since The Glamazon captured the title from Mickie James at SummerSlam, she has been dominating both her opponents and the opponents of her boyfriend, Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella.

CHICAGO – The wait is over for Beth Phoenix. The overwhelming size and strength of the Glamazon could be denied no longer. In front of a capacity crowd at the Allstate Arena, Phoenix defeated Candice Michelle, obliterating any doubts about her dominance and emerging victorious in her drive to capture the Women’s Championship.

Despite throwing every ounce of energy she had at the Glamazon, former Women’s Champion Candice Michelle simply could not overcome the size and strength advantage enjoyed by Phoenix, who pinned the Candy-coated Diva after a powerful cradle suplex.

For weeks, critics wondered whether or not Phoenix had the ability to capitalize on her strengths. Some even raised the question of performance anxiety to explain away Phoenix’s loss at Unforgiven, when she let the gold slip through her crushing fingers at the last minute. But after weeks of speculation that she wasn’t living up to her potential, the Glamazon silenced any critics on Sunday night.

“I am the most perfect being on the face of the earth,” Phoenix declared in a post-match interview. “I have ushered in the era of the Glamazon!”

This past Tuesday, Candice Michelle celebrated her birthday while on tour with WWE. The day was especially meaningful because the Diva’s Wisconsin-based family was able to join her at the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis.

“It actually worked out, where everybody was at one show, and it was in Wisconsin! All of my family drove up and they were there,” the Raw Diva said.

“They made some really awesome shirts with my photo on the front that say: ‘Hotter, better, faster, stronger.’ And we’re going to go out, we’re going to celebrate. I plan to do it big. … I’m going to work hard and play hard,” said the Diva who will challenge Beth Phoenix for the Women’s Championship this Sunday at No Mercy.

The Wisconsin-native told Diva Dish she’s especially excited her hometown team – the Milwaukee Brewers – has made the Major League Baseball playoffs.

“I think they can win it all. They have a lot of confidence,” Candice Michelle said. “They haven’t been to the playoffs in a long time and I think once you get there, and you have that confidence there, you get a re-boost of energy to say, ‘Hey, we might be able to win this thing.’ So hopefully they’ll win!”

*waves* I am admittedly not the biggest fan of Candice, my long time favorites are retired already; but I'll definitely give credit where it's due.. she's improved by leaps and bounds since she first arrived in the WWE. There's always room for improvement with any of the divas, and hopefully without any major injuries, she'll continue to work her way to the top and all.. And well, she's also one of the most photogenic of the Divas, hence I'll make graphics of her.

When Candice first came in I wasn't a big fan of hers, she kinda annoyed me. But as time has gone on and Candice has proven that she wants to be more than just eye candy I've grown to be a fan of hers. I've had a love hate relationship when it comes to Candice and I blame alot of that on the wwe. In August of this year I got to meet Candice and she is the most down to earth person, very sweet. I loved meeting her and have really become a bigger fan of hers, not just as a wrestler/diva but as a person. She's got a great spirit and heart. As Candice says if you don't have Faith you don't have anything. I've taken that to heart.

There's about 64 pics in here so it's not really dail up friendly. I have plenty more pics of Candice and if I have time I will have more later on. Enjoy all the pics of Candice.

I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of Candice until late 2007. What won me over was her matches with Melina(who is my favorite) All the opinions I had of Candice about not deserving to even have matches were thrown out the window. For me, seeing how she's improved and her willingness to improve and getting injured left and right has won me over as a fan. I can't wait to see what she has in-store for us this time around.

I got the distinct pleasure of meeting Candice(before she got injured) and she was just a sweetheart in person (and even more beautiful)

I will never be a hater again. Rock on Candice! Rock on!
