How did you get into this style? I was first amazed about the hair and then further realized that this style is somewhat similiar to lolita, and it fits into my life more its still a very shocking style but it isn't that much of stand out compared to lolita ^-^
Why do you love it ? it's more sophisticated

My name is Shawna!

I'm 20 years old and live in Vancouver, BC!

My style is just general gyaru-kei with influences from
hime and rocker sometimes!!
I got into gal styles through parapara and
getting to know people interested in it as well,
and a love for fashion and wanting to make myself
pretty I guess hahaha!
I love it because it makes me more confident and happy
while looking good at the same time!

So, lovely gals~
What are your favorite places to shop in Canada?

For shoes, clothes, accessories, makeup, anything!!

If you reply, post your city if you can to give good info
to someone who might live there too :P

Here in Vancouver,
I love some big name shops like ZARA, Sirens, Claire's...
Some places nobody really knows like Mantique (also where I work, yay),
Orange county (closing... booo), Yoshi Express (has really cute stuff sometimes!!)
And the asian malls has really stylish stuff sometimes but also sometimes SUPER
expensive (crystal mall, lol)

Make up I just get from M.A.C or the drugstores hehe.

if anyone is visiting Vancouver,
I suggest Metrotown of course, biggest mall in western canada apparently
(Other than WEM in edmonton)
And behind metro is a place called Crystal Mall. Sometimes you can get a nice
deal and some cute things (and really cute stationary)
Take a bus to Richmond and check out Aberdeen Mall and Parker Place,
Richmond Center too I guess
(though I haven't personally been there, but a lot of people go)
A lot of people shop Robson street downtown.
A lot of clothing and shoe stores.

Granville street is good for shoes because they have the
ALDO outlet store. Discounts and sales
and often find something you like!!
( I got a pair of $120 shoes for $15...nice timing with sales)
Also John Fluevog is on granville, really cool stuff there sometimes!
