Canada's Next Top Model

Hiya,

Just found this community and I'm thrilled. I'm a Toronto gal who loves the show, and ANTM too, and I'm dying to gossip about it with cool people, but the mailing list is full of people whining and complaining. No fun!

So...I saw the first episode but missed the second one. I saw the someone YouTubed it (you rock for doing that!), so I'll watch it at home before tonight's episode.

My thoughts...

I like that it's being held someplace a bit off the beaten path. Montreal or Toronto would have been too obvious, and it would have been very hard to do it anonymously. My MIL is from Victoria, and it's a very pretty city.

Sisi annoys the living heck out of me. From day one, she's treated this whole thing as a joke. The very first day, when Jay took Polaroids of them, she was crossing her eyes and making stupid faces. Geez, grow up already!

I was sorry to see Dawn go so early. She was so sweet and pretty and she had an openess about her that I liked.

Andrea is much more attractive than she thinks she is, and her new haircut really suits her. It brings out her great bome structure. She really does need to stop bursting into tears all the time though.

I like that they used Stacey McKenzie as a judge - it really emphasizes that conventional beauty is not essential or a guaranteee of success.

Can't wait for tonight's episode.
