Add a bronze. I'm thinking Emmanuel will do his usual 2nd or 3rd best long programme after stuffing up the short schtick. Only 11 points between Sandhu and Weir (currently in 2nd). Sandhu's long is so loaded with points he could conceivably pass Weir or Lambiel (3rd).

Despite all his inconsistencies, figure skating afficionados love Sandhu's talent...and will happily score him accordingly if he performs. He's come from 5th or 6th to win twice this year.

Don't! He got the Bronze!

Emmanuel, however, imploded (according to CBC) and fell on his first two jumps. Paul Martini called it a disaster. He got his lowest marks of the season and finished 12th.

YAY!!!!

OMG I am actually really happy to hear that, I mean my heart broke for him during the short program. He fell twice, but he still finished with a lot of dignity and a smile, and didn't show any dissapointment until after his finished.

To hear that he actually was able to push himself up and get a bronze is just awesome.

You've got to hand it to Norway, from a medals-per-population standpoint. They've got like 4.5 million people, beating out Germany (82 mil) Russia (143 mil) and the US (almost 300 mil). And for our 32 mil, we're not doing too terribly either.
