06:06 pm - moving branches moving camera mostly

Lodgepole Pine lower branches along the Rainier Fork of the American River, Washington

I was taken by the starkness of the lower dead branches of the lodgepole pines along the trail and didn't have more than my "pocket pal" Canon G9 with me so couldn't hold the camera steady long enough for a decent image so went with motion instead so moved the camera during the exposure of about .8 second.
I did return with my other camera and tripod for more images.

09:26 pm - Swing

I was riding on a swing at the local park playground when I took this picture of our neighbor (left) and my wife & daughter (middle) sitting on a bench. We were at the park, and I was actually thinking about taking an picture to post in this community. I exposed several frames, and this ended up being the best (in an abstract sort of way). Image made on a Nikon D70s with Nikkor 18-70mm lens at 52mm. Exposure was 2 seconds at f/14, ISO 200. Colors, Levels, and Saturation adjusted using UFRaw and the GIMP.

I was walking up the road with a 'pocket pal' digital camera and with the camera set at four seconds, I tripped the shutter.
