camarilla is open to all current members of The Camarilla: White Wolf's Official Fan Club.

nwod_charlinks exists specifically for formation of IC links for your PCs, so while looking for such links here is allowed, it's discouraged. Please don't post IC fiction here, if everyone did it, useful information, questions, etc would be lost in the signal-to-noise ratio.
If you would like to be a member of this community, there is a two-step process for subscription.
STEP ONE: go here: http://www.livejournal.com/community/join.bml?comm=camarilla
STEP TWO, after you have done so, please email your name, membership #, and the name of your journal to: camarillalivejournal@gmail.com in order to connect your info to your subscription request.
If you used to be a member, and find that you are suddenly not a member, odds are you missed the June 2009 audit. If so, please go ahead and click the link and send the email to verify, and we'll hook you right back up. :)
All posts made in individual journals are the responsibility of the poster, but all posts made specifically incamarilla are subject to the US Code of Conduct. Posts that violate this rule can be removed, and the user can be referred to the appropriate Coordinator for additional action as warrented.
Now, some people have mistakenly stated that being a member ofcamarilla means that the Code of Conduct is in force for your own, private personal LiveJournals.
I'd like to debunk that particular rumor now:
Anything posted here, either as a post or a response, is fully subject to the Code of Conduct, as this is a "sanctioned medium" as described in the Global Communication Policy, as found in the Membership Handbook, page 90. That is, in part, why the "Please post your name and Camarilla membership #" came into being here. So don't say anything here that you wouldn't say on a WW email list, or in #cam-ooc, etc... most of y'all know what the CoC is, and how to abide by it.
Anything posted to your own LiveJournal is your personal authoring, and per the current wording of the Membership Handbook, isn't treated any differently than anywhere else you'd post on the Internet.
As an example: When I post incamarilla, I need to abide by the Code of Conduct.

halaku, is not a "sanctioned medium", and thus, the rules are not the same as if it was.
The same goes for every other member of this Community. No, you don't lose (or gain) any Code of Conduct prohibitions (or rights) to your personal LiveJournal, simply by being a member of this Community. Anyone who tells you otherwise is mistaken, at best, or attempting to cause drama, at worse.
Now, as the Moderator, my job's pretty much the same as a moderator on one of the cammail.white-wolf.com email lists (something I've done for various WW lists, the 6.0 creation Yahoogroups, etc)... get people subscribed, get people unsubscribed, and field issues as they come up. The issues are pretty much the same you'd see here as you'd see on a list, with the difference being that it's a lot easier to see the "archive" of previous comments on a LiveJournal (just like it is on a Yahoogroup, for example) than it is on one of the WW lists. Listmods have "thread freezes" and "threadkills" as tools, LiveJournal is much the same way, with the ability to freeze the option to reply to the comment, remove the comment from view temporarily while I discuss the issue with my Coordinator (my preferred choice of action, and one that is usually lifted within 24 hours), or simply delete the comment. Such actions are reserved for violations of the Code of Conduct, defusing a heated argument in which things have gotten personal, etc, and are never done lightly.
It's my wish (and hope) that this Community be open to all members of the Camarilla, regardless of MC, or National Affiliation, or whether or not I personally like you. :) I hope that the above helps to dispel any rumors or myths as to the nature of this Community, what it means (or doesn't, as the case may be) to your own personal LiveJournals, and I'm always here to answer any questions as they come up.
