I had been planning this community forever it seems and thought it was about time to just do it since there was interest.
This community is going to be for academic calls for papers and submissions.
Please join and post. Use the tags to tell us what subject it is! Or if you just want to search, use the following link: http://www.livejournal.com/community/callsforpapers/tag/
Rules:
1) Be civil. Failure to be civil can and will result in banning for whoever started the fight. You will be warned to check the attitude before you are banned.
2) Don't annoy the moderators. Please. We will be nice to you as long as you are nice to us. We will always use "please" and "thank you" and we will always try to be reasonable.
3) Regardless of if you add one CFP or a dozen, we are all equal here. Posting many CFPs does not allow you to break rule 1 or 2.
4) If you don't tag your entries, a moderator may add a tag and then remind you to tag it more fully. Do not take this personally, it is for the benefit of the community so as to make searching easier for all of us.
Note: the moderator(s) do not want to ban people so please follow rule 1 and 2.
