Before we go anywhere, sure, you may be thinking, "There are an awful lot of Alexes in this band, won't that get confusing?" Answer: only if you let it. Other bandmates & friends seem to keep them straight by referring to them as Singer, Marshall and Johnson, and so this is what you'll frequently see in fic; a tried-and-true method. Exceptions to this rule: AUs where they're not a band, and pre-band high school fic, since in those situations, Singer isn't The Singer of The Cab (yet?). And Ian left the band recently to pursue 'other musical interests' (animosity-free), and was then replaced on guitar (but never in our hearts!) by this adorable Bryan fellow. Got it? Good.  RATINGS! Everything is welcome here, from genfic to NC-17, but please rate your fic clearly so we all know what we're getting into and everybody stays happy. Don't be afraid to contact the mods if you have any questions or suggestions. We value your input; this community is for you!  BETAS! There are lots to choose from, and more as we grow and your imaginations run wild and free, so be as detailed as you can. Don't be afraid to let other bands join in on the fun either. This is ultimately a Cab community but crossovers are welcome so long as one of the Cab boys is the main focus. They've toured with the supersexy Cobras and the Hushies! They're BFFs with Panic! They're also besties and former tourmates with We the Kings! Patrick executive-produced their album! Pete is their boss! There are many inter-band potential shenanigans. Don't hold back! Never, ever advertise other communities, it will be deleted.
