About

Criminal Masterminds is a meeting place for muses from the many crime dramas on television (ie: CSI, Law and Order, NCIS, etc...) This is not a place for fan fiction. It's a blog for the other side of the criminal masterminds, the ones who try to bring about justice, to sound off their thoughts and ramblings.

The rules are simple:

1. You may post almost anything your muse wants to say in this community. Examples would be their opinion on a case they're working on, something going on in their personal life, a comment to a co-worker or a friend. All posts should be in 1st person POV, direct from the muses mouth to the masses. This is a meeting board for those muses in any aspect of law enforcement.

2. You are required to post to the main community at least once a month. This doesn't mean that you can't post as often as you want. Post away!
Activity checks are always on the first of every month. If a muse hasn't posted at all in the last month, no matter how long they have been in the community, there will be a warning. The second time, we will let you go and you are free to re-apply in a months time. Once a month guys. It's that easy!

3. Anything explicit in nature should be labeled as such and put behind a cut whether it be personal or from a case file.

4. Current season SPOILERS!! should be put behind a cut and labeled as such. I know that a lot of our shows are about to start up again and some are still going. Our muses may want to talk about the happenings of a new episode. Go ahead. Just respect your fellow community members and put it behind a cut. Thanks!

5. All posts should be in the main community. You can put it in your muse journal too, but please link it back here. The mods would like to keep track of activities so that we can play off of that.

6. Every two weeks or... whenever we feel like it, the mods may post a starter, situational or thought provoking. No one is required to do anything with these, it's just a springboard for interaction and thoughts.

7. You may not post anything derogatory towards another muse. It causes wank and we won't be having any of that here.

8. As of right now, we will only be allowing one version of any given character. Example: There will only be one Mac Taylor from CSI: New York. This may change in the future, but for right now, that is the case.

9. One mun is allowed to have up to three canon muses at one time. Original muses are open.

10. We do allow OC's from the crime dramas and OC's in law enforcement. If your muse is not on a crime drama but is a cop or a detective on another show, we allow that too.

11. Be kind to each other. It's easy. It's drama free. It's like kindergarten, folks. Play nice.

Joining Criminal Masterminds

How to join:

1. Check the Taken Muses List.
2. If your muse isn't taken, please feel free to go to the Application Post and submit your own by replying to that post.
3. Wait for your Acceptance reply.
4. Once you've received your invitations to both

c_masterminds and

mastermind_fen accept and have fun.
5. Post your Intro on the Fen Community (100 word min) and have fun on the actual comm.
