What is C6D?
C6D stands for Canadian 6 Degrees. Loosely defined, this is a large group of related fandoms that have some connection to the television show due South. This is an expansion of what is called dS6D.
With dS6D, anything that has a regular participant of due South in it is generally considered fair game. Fandoms within dS6D include Slings & Arrows (Paul Gross), Twitch City (Callum Keith Rennie) and The Shield (David Marciano).
C6D encompasses dS6D, is a little broader and a lot harder to define. It's anything that is "six-degree-ish" of due South, but centers around a small set of (mostly) Canadian artists:

Bruce McDonald
Daniel McIvor
The point of c6d_weekly is to be inclusive, rather than exclusive. The heart of C6D are these artists, so the focus of this community should be fannish endevours that somehow feature one of them. Of course, nothing is written in stone and hard-and-fast rules were made to be broken.
For example, Battlestar Galactica is a wonderful fandom, but the only fannish things that will be listed here include Leoben Conoy (Callum Keith Rennie) in some way. This is mostly because BSG is a pretty large fandom and already has a newsletter for all the happenings in that fandom.
In addition, crossovers and rpf/rps are welcome. If you want your rpf/rps posted here, you must send a notice to the moderator.
The success of this community is going to rely heavily on the readers. Submissions and additions are always welcome. Also, suggestions on other fandoms or communities to include are greatly appreciated.
