About Let the revolution BEGIN!
Introduction
Hello there, and welcome to this community for all ByakuRuki lovers and writers! The purpose of this community is to expose the true relationship of Byakuya and Rukia. It is noticeable that most of the stories written for ByakuRuki nowadays are mostly filled with angst and drama because of Hisana this, and Hisana that. Those stories were entertaining at first, but now we, as the ByakuRuki shippers, demand more. That is why this contest we're showing off here encourages ByakuRuki authors of all kinds to quit the angst and write fluff, humor, romance, crack - you name it, we got it. We proclaim ourselves the ByakuRuki Revolution proudly because our goal is to transform ByakuRuki as we know it and cause a revolution, so that our favorite ship won't be filled with angst and Hisana anymore...it'll be truly Byakuya and Rukia.
The Contest
This community strongly encourages authors to write multi-chaptered fics since the ByakuRuki pairing is sorely missing in multi-chapter fics. However, in this contest, we will be hosting two categories - a multi-chapter fic category and a oneshot category. Each author will be allowed three entries - it is up to him/her to decide in which category(ies) those entries will be in.
There will be themes for the authors to choose and write on. The themes will be posted on the community when they are agreed upon, and the profile will have a link to that entry.
We ask that the writing you write for this community be original, please, and not ripped from a previous piece you wrote and entered for this community. We seek to get those creative juices flowing :) Also, we're sorry about this, but we ask that the writing you do for this community be strictly posted on this community until the contest ends, and then you'll be free to post your writing wherever you like for anybody to read.
Voting and Deadlines
The contest is tentatively scheduled to start at around January/February, and end sometime in April, but as stated before, all dates are very tentative, and they'll be updated once they're more concrete.
Voting will take place using the polling option on LJ, or if that screws up, the polling option on FF.net. All votes will be anonymous. Voters can vote for their favorite story in the multi-chapter category and oneshot category, their second favorite in both categories, and their third favorite in both categories.
Prizes
In our effort to encourage authors to write multi-chaptered fics, we are offering pretty Bleach memorabilia (posters, mousepads, etc.) to the winners of the multi-chapter category, and a banner and/or icon to the winners of the oneshot category.

hajnalmadar - A Hungarian ByakuRuki fan, she's the one who had the idea for a ByakuRuki contest and decided to throw it out in the open to see if anybody would be interested. Now look at where it's gone! FF.net account.
-arizaki_shisaku - A Chinese-American who loves ByakuRuki way too much to be healthy and has written several fics on ByakuRuki. Decided to help on the ByakuRuki contest, and is a friendly, outgoing soul who also wrote the profile you just read. FF.net account.
