#26 The Moth & the Butterfly  
I was cleaning up the layouts folder on my hard drive and just found this little beauty I've used myself back in 2006.^^ And instead of deleting it I thought I could share it with you, after I've gone through the terrible old coding. *rofl*




Title: The Moth & the Butterfly

Theme: Flexible Squares
Account: free, plus & paid
Header: yes
Browser: Firefox & IE

READ ME:

This is important. If you don't follow this instructions the layout might look weird on your account.^^
Upload ALL images from the zip to your own server and change the paths on the css. I won't host any images for you.

1) Go to your customize (http://www.livejournal.com/customize) site.
2) (Select a new theme) by searching for Flexible Squares. If you have you own layer for Flexible Squares use it!
3) (Choose a page setup) Set to sidebar on right.
4) Hit the customize selected theme button.
5) (customize your theme)
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the default user picture on the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the blurb/free text in the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the link list in the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you
- (Sidebar) Set » Show tags in the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you - you can choose cloud or list, both work fine
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the page summary in the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the calendar in the sidebar? - yes/no it is up to you
Hit 'Ordering' and arrange the sidebar to your liking.
6) (Custom CSS) Set the three pulldowns to 'no', copy the css and paste it into » Custom stylesheet. Save changes.
7) A link back to my journal (butterflybox) somewhere at yours would be very nice, but isn't a must.

If you wanna change the graphics or any colours I won't be offended. But do never claim my css as yours, ok?

WOW! Absolutely beautiful! I love the show as well, but I'd like to know if I can use one of my own headers? Will _definitely_ credit since I plan to use it in the near future. I'm a layout junkie, lol!

Das Layout ist aber hübsch. Das werd ich mir gleich mal für später speichern. Auch der Header ist traumhaft. Charlie und Claire waren doch mein Lieblingspaar bei Lost.

I hope you don't mind me asking here. Where did you put your ads in the archive page? I also have a Plus account and I find that they really mess up my layout in the Archive page.

I can't figure out how to attach the paths, can you help me out? I really love this theme....I can even give you my flickr info if you want to just do that to make it easy, I just don't see where your paths were to stick mine in, you know?
