Requested! Inspired by the layout I created for my X-Files fansite World of X a couple of weeks ago. Enjoy!




Title: The X-Files
System: s2
Theme: Flexible Squares
Account: free, plus & paid
Header: yes
Browser: Firefox & IE
Download: here



READ ME:

This is important. If you don't follow this instructions the layout might look weird on your account.^^
Upload ALL images from the zip to your own server and change the paths on the css. I won't host any images for you.

1) Go to your customize (http://www.livejournal.com/customize) site.
2) (Select a new theme) by searching for Flexible Squares. If you have you own layer for Flexible Squares use it!
3) (Choose a page setup) Set to sidebar on right.
4) Hit the customize selected theme button.
5) (customize your theme)
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the default user picture on the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the blurb/free text in the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the link list in the sidebar? - yes // we need the link list as navigation!
- (Sidebar) Set » Show tags in the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you - you can choose cloud or list, both work fine
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the page summary in the sidebar? - yes/no // it is up to you
- (Sidebar) Set » Show the calendar in the sidebar? - yes/no it is up to you
Hit 'Ordering' and arrange the sidebar to your liking.
6) (Custom CSS) Set the three pulldowns to 'no', copy the css and paste it into » Custom stylesheet. Save changes.
7) A link back to my journal (butterflybox) somewhere at yours would be very nice, but isn't a must.

If you wanna change the graphics or any colours I won't be offended. But do never claim my css as yours, ok?

I love the layout, especially the header image, but I suppose I mustn't edit the header ('d like the change Mulder and Scully to Addison from Grey's Anatomy). I'd do it with your permission, but if you don't want me to, all I can ask is: would you take a header request? :D

Hi! :-)

I tried to install this awesome layout for my friend [info]ladybird_7 and it looks great. There's just one problem and I can't manage it:

I'm sorry, I can't say this in english... *blushes*

Also, wenn der letzte Eintrag auf der Seite eher kurz ist, dann wird der nächst folgende Eintrag so komisch eingerückt... So:



Kannst du mir vielleicht sagen, was ich da im Code ändern muss, damit das klappt?! Hab alle möglichen Dinge versucht, bin aber nicht dahinter gekommen, woran es liegt, dass manche Einträge so komisch eingerückt sind, aber es sieht halt nicht besonders schön aus...

Great layout as usual. Am using it (with a different header and will change colours) but it's great. Just one question though... How do I change up the links box to use it as navigation? 'Cause currently there is no navigation area.

Can I ue it in my new LJ for twilight?The question is that... I want a header like yours but... I don't find that kinda textures and I want one exactly teh same but with bella &edward from twilight and with de texture in black instead in white!

Where did you get that texture?

Beautiful Layout
I love this layout, and as you kindly allow people to customize it, I nearly have it perfect but theres just one thing that I can't work out at all !! And I would really love it if you could help me fix it.

The Peach in the entry's is what's bothering me, and I can't seem to find a way to fix it, I've set all the things that used to be transparent to the colour i would like them to be, gone through and checked all the background colours, and I just can't seem to find why i can't fix this.

If you could help I'd really appreiciate it, if not, thanks anyway for the wonderful Layout, Thanks in advance :)
