Welcome to Buttah Icons, another elite (to an extent) icon community. 001. If you have an icon post with more than 3 icons, please put it behind an lj-cut by placing <lj-cut> before the portion you want cut.
002. We don't mind what you use in your icons, as long as you give credit if it is requested. In addition, if you decide to use fanart or fanmanips, we ask that you have permission from the artist.
003.Please post your rules (if you have any) for usage of your icons in your post.
004. If you are linking to an off-community post with icons, still paste them in with your teasers and link.
005. If your icons have offensive images/language on them or adult material, you can post them here, just please put them behind a cut.

Oh good lord, ANOTHER elite icon community?
Yeah, deal with it! Ok, kidding. Honestly, it is silly for there to just be a few. And since some are being uber-picky about who they let in, another community was needed that kept up the original idea that goodhplotricons put in place. I'm not here to judge by what I think is good, I let you in if you work hard on your icons and it shows.
How can I post here?
To post here, you need to submit an application and be accepted as a member. Once that is accomplished, you can post until your heart's content.
What type icons can I post here?
Icons that are posted here have some time invested into them. Ones that have been simply cropped from images and have a one pixel border, aren't really what we are looking for. Not saying that they aren't good icons, just isn't what I want to see posted here. I like to see interesting effects, colors, gradients, bordering, etc. I don't mind the use of icon brushes, templates and other such icon resources as long as you credit those you borrowed from. And as far as animations, while I like them, they need to be done well. For example, blinkies make my head hurt.
Can I use icons from here?
Of course, unless the icon-maker/poster says specifically that you can't. The purpose of this community is to share icons that us bored icon-making fiends make in our spare time, so please do. Only requirement is that you credit the maker of the icon. To do this, go to the Edit User Pictures page and enter the username of the icon maker in the 'Keywords' box next to the icon they made. Some don't require this, but unless they specify that they don't, it is safe to say they do.
I wasn't accepted, can I still watch the community?
Yep. Just click the 'Add Friend' link at the top of the community page and you can watch this community for updates.
Can I post community promotions and icon requests here?
Absolutely not. If you are posting a batch of icons, you are more than welcome to advertise your icon journal or community behind the cut, but special posts made only to promote communities will be deleted. Furthermore, icon requests are not to be made as well as any other type of request be it for screen captures, icon brushes or any other such things. Again, if you are posting a batch of icons, you can do so behind the cut, but not in a post all their own.
