This group is for burlesque performers who want to post photos of themselves if they are burlesque performers, or photographer who enjoy photographing burlesque, and for people who want to enjoy those photos. The idea is a to have a blog that's easy to scan through, full of glamourous and fun photos.
Members are not required to make posts work-safe. Please keep this in mind before joining.
Comments must be positive. If you don't have something nice to say, take it elsewhere. This is a no-conflict zone for people who love the visuals of burlesque.

There are lots of sites for non-burlesque models and photography, but as far as I know only one burlesque photo livejournal group at this time. Let's make the most of it by keeping the photos relevant to the theme.
You may post one photo per day; this group is not for sets or multiple daily posting. And please do post that one photo per day!
This is not a group for posting information about shows and events. Just pictures, one at a time. You can provide a link underneath to more photos and/or event info. The recommended format is in the first entry.
Please keep photos no larger than 500 pixels wide. You can use your photo to link to a larger version of the photo, but your original post should be of a size that can be easily taken in when someone scrolls through the page.
Photos may not be flyers for shows, events, etc, but they may be copyright marked and/or have a line of your information on them.
Photos may be of you or by you. They may not be copyright infringed, stolen, or otherwise appropriated from unwilling or unknowing subjects or photographers.
Drawings and paintings are also welcome, as long as they follow the same rules as the photos.

If you have a journal with no entries and you are unknown to the moderators, you may or may not have posting access. We're whimsical that way.
Anonymous negative posters are scorned.
Anyone caught manipulating anyone else's identity will be deleted. Come on people, we've all been on the internet for awhile and we're all aware of these lame techniques, it's not clever, it's been done.
