MOD POST: NEW RULES FOR SALES POSTS [12 Jun 2008 @ 5:33pm] fencer_x [ mood | not happy ] All right, I'd hoped I would never have to do this, but I've finally gotten tired of seeing people being bled for their money and overcharged for Rock Musical Bleach goods. There is now a limit on how much you can charge for anything you sell on this community--photosets, old DVDs, tickets, CDs, anything. You may not charge more than 1.5 times the original price in JAPAN for any goods without first asking permission from fencer_x, the moderator. I understand there are definitely times when something is worth more than even 1.5 times the original price; if you have a first press edition of a DVD watched perhaps only once, complete with all the extra goodies, and you've kept it safe for years and finally need to part with it--yeah, it's gonna be worth a healthy bit more than you originally paid for it. However there is no excuse for charging $20, $25 for 600yen photosets (~$6), when they are all available to you at the original price already on goodbye_money (as are all DVDs, pamphlets, and other extras as well). Any sales post from now on must price everything sold within 1.5 times the original price (not including shipping--but if you try and price-gouge on shipping like selling a photoset for $9 and then charging $11 for shipping, I'm gonna get onto you >_>). Original prices are all available on Animate's site and the Pierrot shop. (DVDs are generally ~$70, pamphlets ~$15, and photosets ~$6) I don't care if you paid $20 for the photosets originally--that's your own problem--or got ripped off on ebay and paid $150 for one of the DVDs. This is a community to foster spreading the BuriMyu love and appreciation, not to help people who get to go to these shows fatten their wallets. I apologize if any of you feel this is directed towards you--it isn't, really, it's just been a long time coming, and this sort of thing REALLY rubs me the wrong way. Here in this community, I have the power to do something about it to keep people from ripping off other people (whether you did it maliciously/knowingly or just wanted to recoup your own losses and charged what you paid yourself), and so I'm taking a stand. If there are any questions whatsoever, please feel free to leave a reply, or contact me privately through LJ's messaging service. I'll make a note in the profile as well, and include information about purchasing this stuff yourself. As I mentioned, goodbye_money is my own "shop" I run where I make no money from any of my sales, I simply hook people up with TeniMyu/BuriMyu/*pnish* stuff as best I can. All photosets and pamphlets from all the shows are available (the DVDs are sold out at the moment, I believe), and I do business with Pierrot frequently. While I'm in the process of moving to Tokyo at the moment, I've suspended orders, but when I get settled again in August, I'll open them up again and business will continue as usual. Please--definitely feel free to sell whatever you want here, it spreads the love! But respect your fellow fans and don't charge them an arm and a leg for this stuff. 11 shinigamis - Where's My Quincy?

Nagayan Overseas Postcard Project [14 May 2008 @ 9:18am] fencer_x [ mood | accomplished ] Hey guys! This is a reminder to anyone thinking of participating in the Nagayan Overseas Postcard Project! Question [10 May 2008 @ 11:17pm] storm_sight [ mood | curious ] Wow, so after searching just about everywhere that I can find, I have one question. How tall are the girls of burimyu? That makes me feel so stupid and like such a newbie, but I was wondering if anybody knows? I have looked just about everywhere I can think of and nowhere can I find anything. I am in particular looking for the height of Kumiko Saito (Hinamori). She looks so tiny, and I got to wondering about how tall she actually is. 8 shinigamis - Where's My Quincy?

Nagayama Takashi's a great guy, this we all know, and he absolutely treasures all of his fans. But right now, while he knows he has foreign fans, he mostly associates us with the few of us who attend his FC events or show up at his shows, the random fangirls on his blog commenting in English (really, ladies :P sheesh), he doesn't have anything concrete to show him that he has X number of fans from Y number of foreign countries, and that needs to change! BuriMyu Icons [23 Apr 2008 @ 12:06am] otaku3chan I made 8 icons for burimyu!! ......but half of them are Kouhei and Takashi.....which is not that bad considering I didn't make many in the first place. If you strangely like my icons, and want me to make you some, totally tell me who you want in it!! I'm limited though with base pictures.... The reason why my icons are not as good as everybody elses:  **I don't have photoshop, therefore, many credits go to the strange programs I used to make the icons:  *Microsoft Onenote (for screenclipper and for text) *Microsoft Word (for borders and slight textures) *Paint (for options of saving the images as pictures and for deleting extra parts of images) *and LunaPic Online Photo Editor (for resizing option) I never originally owned the base pictures, therefore credits go to whoever posted them up on the wonderful internet in the first place!! ( icons are here ) These are in the order that they were made in Well, tell me what you think!! If you want them, go ahead and take some, just don't forget to credit!!! These actually took me a really long time to make!! P.S. Anyone know how to put the images in a grid?? My way is a messed up sort of way to do it..... ~~~ otaku3chan ~~~   Where's My Quincy?
