I offer a stone head, peeking out of the ivy at Speke Hall, Liverpool:( Read more... )
He resembles the enigmatic Celtic heads that are found dotted around Lancashire, which would make him very old indeed - but sadly Google suggests he is a Victorian copy.

I Thought I would share this storybook treasure chest of succulents with you all, reminds me of dragon scales, mermaids etc etc.. I planted this in the Spring and it has now almost completely enveloped it's container!
The color in this container references the pebbles and red brick back-drop!

This bike is parked outside my local parcel depot. I know the queue can get long there - but not this long, surely?

I have two little girls who have never seen, smelt, felt, walked in, or jumped in autumn leaves.
Will you send them some?
If you want, I'll send you something back beachy. If you want, I can also pay shipping via paypal. Or if you want, you can just send them. I hope to get some big bags to take my my girls' school so they cam all play with them at recess. Isn't that a good idea?
I miss the fall!
And to show that I'm doing good things to, today I joined the sea turtle conservancy here on the island. Right now just data entry and autopsies, but later, we'll look for nests, incubate the eggs, and let them go after they hatch,. Last year they let 10,000 paddle their way to teh sea from Texas alone!
If you want to, please send the leaves to:

a few pics of my overgrown backyard, from 04' & 05"...it's evolved since then, though not for the better in some aspects, my lawn has dried up :( we aren't able to use water as freely, cause our city has declared a water shortage...so there's been casualties :(

This is at a local park. According to my boyfriend, a native of the town, the tree grew into/around/over it, or I guess you could say swallowed the lamp post! I think of it as a treelight.
