| About: | Welcome to Burdenville Burdenville is a community exclusively for those lj members who have an ongoing photo a day journal. To become a member of Burdenville you also must have an ongoing photo a day journal. Purpose of Burdenville: Burdenville is not intended as the place to post all of your daily images, post those on your personal lj account. Burdenville is to be a gathering of the photo a dayers to chat about photography and different projects we’re working on. The goal for Burdenville is to be a place where we can learn from each other and challenge each other. Posting images on Burdenville is encouraged but again, it’s not the place for your daily images. The Rules of the photo a day project: 1.)You must have a live journal site dedicated to your photo a day project, or tag all your photo a day pictures so they can be viewed by themselves. 2.)You must post a photo every single day that YOU shot, THAT day. Sounds pretty easy right? Well you can’t go through your old photos and post a bunch of old stuff, you have to post something that you shot THAT day. They don’t all have to be great, some will be some won’t be. You just have to shoot a new picture every day. After about 2 months of consecutive posts you’ll begin to understand why we call the community Burdenville. 3.)You do not need to have any fancy equipment to be a member of Burdenville. Just a desire to do the project. Even if you don’t have an SLR there is still a lot you can do with point and shoots. 4.)Many of us post our image followed by our camera info, lens, ISO, f- shop and shutter speed or any photoshop you may have done to the image. You do not have to post this information but it is nice to know what you did to get your shot. *This community is not the place for you to post all your photo a day pictures. Post them in your own Journal.* This community is a place where you can announce your project, and meet other people who are doing the same project. When you join, Please Comment Here and tell me when you're starting or when you started, so I know that you're doing the project and I can add you to the list.
