jammiez!

[info]jovino
Our photoshoot today was absolutely amazing! We had so many friends show up to model which made us both really happy bunnies. Tonight we actually managed to narrow down all of the best shots down to a mere 130 photos. This task alone took quite some time.

This weekend I'll be rocking my Photoshop skillz to do all the fancy re-touching that needs to be done before posting things online. Throughout the weekend you'll start to see some more things trickle in and some existing product photos be updated. I'm certain that I'll be working on this project for a while, but I was so eager to get started that I've already finished the black cat jammies!

Be the first on your block! :)

More to come!
For sure!

a small update

[info]jovino
The month of February came and went and somehow we missed most of it. We had spent all day, every day (except for Valentines' Day), sewing and preparing for WonderCon. The convention came and went in a flash! It was certainly was not what we had expected or anticipated and it came and went in a flash and left our heads spinning. We learned a lot from this convention that will help us refine our business practices and in-person sales set-ups to make everything rock even harder.

For those of you interested in our jammiez, they should be online early next week. We have a photo-shoot scheduled with an amazing photographer on Friday and we're going to make a party out of it. Make sure to check back next week for some new stuff and a small facelift to the front page!

We are also very excited to say that we will be a part of this year's How Weird Street Fair happening in San Francisco on May 10th. This will be the 10th year for this faire, and it's certainly one of our favorites. We hope to see you there!

NEW: two stickers and cheaper shipping!

[info]jovino
We've finally got around to putting our paw and yiff stickers online! They're only $1 each. Cheap!

And, speaking of cheap: we just dropped our "handling charge" down to a measly $1. You know we're not making any money here, kids!

We're still very hard at work getting ready for WonderCon and it looks like we're going to have a respectfully-stocked booth this year. If you missed out on our kigurumi-style jammies at Further Confusion, you'll have another chance in only ten short days!

See you there!

Back from one convention, getting ready for another...

[info]jovino
So...

We've really been busy with production lately trying to get everything in order and under wraps. Last weekend we attended out sixth Further Confusion! This year we sprung for a table in the Dealer's Den and it was super awesome. The best part was the end-of-day "tear-down" where all we had to do was toss a sheet over our stuff and walk out the door. Morning "set-up" was equally as difficult where we had to lift the sheet up off the table. Phew! ;)

Other than the strenuous sheet tossing, the convention was really awesome. As always, the fursuit makers keep raising the bar for quality and innovation. In general, sales were down, but we did manage to have the best year vending so far. Of course, all the cash that we earned has already gone right back into the business as we prepare for an even bigger convention: WonderCon!

WonderCon is taking place February 27 to March 1 at the San Francisco Moscone Center. Last year, the convention welcomed approximately 29,000 attendees over three days. This year they are expecting even more. This is really exciting news for us because this year, we are going to be exhibiting there! We will be located at booth 221 in the South Hall. (As you enter the convention hall, go all the way to the left, and then down the first row of booths. We will be on the right side.)

If you haven't already heard, we will be bringing along our best selling Ninja Bunny as well as our newest items including Pirate Bunny and our amazing Kigurumi-style Jammies -- which are not yet available online!

We're going to be sewing up a frenzy this month, and it will be well worth it! If you are in the San Francisco area in the end of February, then we hope to see you at the convention. Please come by and say hi and to pick up some free goodies.

I LOVE my led sign!

[info]jovino
I just put on the finishing touches to my LED sign interface. If you saw it before, it was a bare-bones Perl script that let you enter in text. The next rendition allowed you to choose transition, then came type formatting and color. All of these improvements were still on a very bare-bones page that allowed for quick edits and testing.

After I got the sign interface functioning and stable, I moved all of my code over to PHP to allow easier integration into jovino.com and bunnywarez.com. Also by doing this, I was able to optimize the Perl script to only a few lines. This is a rather important step because the script runs on a computer located in my living room and network traffic is always an issue.

There are still a bunch of improvements that I can make to the sign interface, but since I have so many other projects looming I am hereby calling it done for now!

send us a message on our led sign

new gallery page

[info]jovino
We have just added a new gallery page to our site! This one uses flickr as the host of the images, and it pulls from everybody’s images that have been tagged with the word “bunnywarez”. flickr supplied the base code to make this possible, and then I modified it to better suit our needs. I’d actually like to modify it even further, but I am really happy with the results. That and it’s 1:30am and I really should think about going to bed.
