Hey everyone. It's really great to see a Buffy/Angel merchandise community! My name's Chad. I'm an administrator over at BtVSFigs, a forum that mainly discusses all of the produced/upcoming Buffy and Angel 6" action figures, 12" action figures, statues, busts, ornaments, PALz, and props. To learn more about how the forum got started, check out this article from Buffy.nu by clicking here. I highly encourage all of you to sign-up to join. It's a great place to get the most up-to-date information on the Buffy/Angel figure releases. We also have a lot of contests that can get you some really great (and pretty rare) prizes. It's a fun place to meet a lot of other Buffy/Angel merchandise collectors, so I hope you guys consider joining. Also, I saw someone write about a custom-made Buffy figure a few posts down. That figure was made by my pal Tim, another administrator at BtVSFigs. Tim and a lot of our other members are customizers that make custom figures all the time. One customizer, MsBigPileofDust, creates a very large number of customs. I think you guys should check out her site ( Sasha's Custom Made Figures) and see what an amazing job she does with creating a lot of Buffy/Angel figures that we will most likely never see officially made by Diamond Select Toys. Anyway, I think it was a great idea to create this community. Again, I hope you guys check out BtVSFigs and consider becoming a member of our forum. We'd be glad to have you! If you have any questions about the forum or the Buffy/Angel figures, feel free to e-mail me at CMK1887@aol.com or IM me at CMK1887. If you become a member of our forum, you can also PM me at CMK1887.

This just in from the Inkworks website: ...and that's not all!
Redemption cards for an exclusive "pre-production" Tara action figure from the episode "Hush" will be inserted approximately one per case. This figure was created by Diamond Select Toys and will be packed in a white "pre-production" box with a Buffy: Women of Sunnydale label. (1 redemption card - Inserted appx. 1:432 packs).Believe me, if people start selling this on eBay, it's going to go for a small mint. It's already up on the BtVS Figs board. The figure completists will pretty much spend any amount of money to obtain this, I bet. Although news from San Diego Comic Con is now that the WoS release may be pushed back to September (no known reason).

Okay, autograph info has finally come through for the upcoming Women of Sunnydale release. There are some interesting autos - 15 in all. Pretty impressive quantity, although I think I'm more pumped about the Pieceworks cards. Not to mention, some of the autographs are "duplicates" or people we've already seen. Probably the least spectacular is Iyari Limon "Kennedy". She just did a Season 7 Autograph. I think Amber Benson's auto is going to be the hottest of the bunch, followed closely by Julie Benz and Robia La Morte. Also: the upcoming internet promo offer at Inkworks will be a WoS promo feat. Dawn. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT buy this promo on eBay. I've seen some joker trying to sell it for near $30. You can get it free (or nearly free - price of postage) by sending in to Inkworks. Be a smart shopper! If you feel like preordering boxes, go to Warp 9. They've had the best prices I've seen so far for a box. Buffy: Women of Sunnydale Coming August, 2004!
15 Autographs to Collect The Most Autographs Ever Inserted Into an Inkworks Product! Including Marti Noxon - Just Confirmed!Autograph Cards – ONE PER BOX! Fifteen autographers: The most autograph cards ever inserted into an Inkworks product. If you missed out on the autographs of some of these Buffy stars in earlier seasons, you now have a second chance to find them in packs. Dopplegangland Willow Exclusive from Side Show Toys is available for preorder. Due to ship early 2005. Limited to 750 pieces - Very Limited. My personal take is that it really doesn't look anything at all like Alyson Hannigan, though. I would buy it if it looked anything like her, but it doesn't! Description: Sunnydale is witness to a new side of Willow Rosenberg in the episode "Dopplegangland." Willow and Anya, newly human and hating it, accidentally summon Vamp Willow from Cordelia's wish dimension, who promptly assembles her own vampire gang to take advantage of the plentiful feeding opportunities at The Bronze. After Willow stuns her vampire counterpart with a tranquilizer gun, usually reserved for her boyfriend Oz, Willow trades her pink fuzzy sweater ensemble for the fetish vampire gear, in a valiant attempt to impersonate her vampire alter-ego and save the hapless residents of Sunnydale! Sideshow Collectibles is proud to bring you Willow from the episode 'Dopplegangland,' the perfect companion for your 12" Vampire Willow figure. This figure features over 30 points of articulation, an authentic Alyson Hannigan likeness, and is costumed in white tights, tennis shoes, polka-dot skirt, and trademark pink fuzzy sweater. Willow comes with Amy the Rat, the tranquilizer gun, and a 12 inch Buffy figure display stand Artist: Andy Bergholtz (portfolio) © 2004 Fox Product Type: 12 inch Figure Product Size: 12" H (304mm)* Product Weight: 3.00 lbs (1.30 Kg) *

I received an email from Time & Space Toys: here's a recap of some of the Buffy related merchandise they are offering. Palisades Toys have launched their new line of fully licensed TV prop replicas from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. First up is the Slayer's Cross Necklace! The Cross Necklace made its debut appearance in the very first episode of the show, "Welcome to the Hellmouth." Diamond Select Toys presents its next series of popular Buffy the Vampire Slayer ornaments! This finely detailed series focuses on fan-favorite characters from the series' classic episodes, including Anya, Anyanka , Fyral Demon Giles , Tara, and White Witch Willow. New and from the UK are a series of Bobble Head Dolls based on Buffy, Angel, and Spike. Currently being imported for the US market, our pre-orders are here! Personally, I think these are HIDEOUS. HUSH CHASE TARA FIGURE UPDATE: Due to the many requests, we have extended the popular FREE TARA offer. In response to the requests to offer the figure to purchases other than "in-stock", we will now extend the free offer to purchases of $100 or more of gift certificates. This allows the buyer to use the gift certificates to pay for any mix of "pre-order" and "in-stock" items as well as use for gift giving. To qualify for your free Tara, purchase $100 or more of gift certificates and include the coupon "FREETARA" in the "COMMENTS" section (there is no "coupon" field for Gift Certificate checkout) when checking out. You will then be emailed your gift certificate for which you may use at any time to pay for future orders including "Pre-orders". BUFFY PALz CHASE DARLA OFFER: This Fall, Palisades Toys introduces the first ever "block style" figures based on the Buffyverse. The figures, called PALz feature a set of six mini-figures and customizing accessories. Along with those six comes a limited edition chase figure of Darla featuring a completely different paint scheme. The chase Darla block figure comes packaged with Vampire face exposed and features a red and black schoolgirl uniform. Standard Darla shows human face and has blue uniform. This figure will be limited to one per case of 24 standard figures and thus be in extremely short supply. Chase Darla will not be available for pre-sale, but instead be given away with purchases of $50 or more of gift certificates . To qualify for your free Darla, purchase $50 or more of gift certificates and include the coupon "FREEDARA" in the "COMMENTS" section (there is no "coupon" field for Gift Certificate checkout) when checking out. You will then be emailed your gift certificate for which you may use at any time to pay for future orders including "Pre-orders".
