Coffee Shops
Anyone know of any coffee shops that are good to do homework in around North Tonawanda/Amherst area?
I haven't found any good places since I moved here in February. I used to like to sit at the Orange Cat in Lewiston or the Starbucks on Third in the Falls..Looking for something similiar to those. Comfy chairs, not over crowded,....

I second Orange Cat!

As for Amherst.. How about Panera Bread? The Sheridan/Delaware location is usually less crowded than the Niagara Falls Boulevard location. However, even when they are busy, there is usually a comfy seat. Bonus with Wi-Fi and pop/coffee refills! I've spent many hours reading-studying-doing homework there.

My mind is drawing a blank on small coffee-house places in those areas.

Barnes and Noble?

I work at the one in Hamburg, so I can't vouch for Amherst, but we have a bunch of folks who come chill in our cafe with their laptops and work on stuff. Starbucks coffee, great baked goods, and a whole lot of books if you need random research fodder or a break. :o)
