| About: | This is a community for people who don't have the money for those shiny, expensive ritual tools, but still find magical foci helpful.
Conversations can range from energy work to spirituality to the magical uses of dry-erase markers. Whatever works, as long as it has something to do with magic and how to do it with limited resources.
Things to keep in mind:
- You are NOT the Supreme Magical Authority. We don't care how many secret societies you're part of, how many degrees you hold, or who/what you were in a past life. The things that work for you may not work for other people. If you're posting here, you're likely just another silly mortal like all the rest of us, and you probably have blind spots. If you come in acting like you're the Hot Magical Shit, you will be laughed at. Everyone has something to learn.
- On the flip side, try and show some respect for other people's paradigms. You can learn things from people you'd normally consider batshit crazy, as long as you separate the message from the medium. Respectful questions are great, but don't be an ass. Yes, even if the person in question claims to be the reincarnation of a Teletubby. Don't be an ass.
- Please don't spam the community. If you're a contributing member of the community, it's okay to advertise goods and services. Your friendly moderator will even add things like permanent listings to the community memories so that people who need something can find it easily. However, this means that you only need to advertise something once. Not every week. And if the first post you make is an ad, you will be banned, and your post will be deleted.
- Posts are currently unmoderated. If we get enough asshats in here, that will change. You have been warned.
