Mine likes to sing to anything that makes noise, music, the sink, the toilet, the sound of his beak tapping against the bathroom mirror...

Probably the cutest, though, was when I first got him and he was just this shy little baby bird alone in its cage. He didn't like to do anything or make any noise because it always attracted my attention and he'd much rather not have any of that, thank you. Then one day as I was listening to music I realized that he was very quietly singing along, and then I realized that the song that was playing was called "My Bird Performs."

My bird first listened to the beatles when he was a baby..and he still reacts to them today. Any kind of dance music like j*pop or the faint..stuff like that..he will get down to. Also he will make a water (drinking) type noise when we turn the sink on, and also if i make kissy noises or a "fttt"...he will make the same noise back.

Also sometimes when we are watching t.v. if something funny happens and the audience laughs, he will laugh too.

my budgies used to love music before we moved. they got excited about opera, techno, rap with funky sound effects, and especially go-go (percusion based music typically played on empty paintcans).
since we moved they're only interested in screaming at the outside birds, especially mourning doves and starlings. they could care less what human music is playing.

The bird I used to have like Ani Difranco, Jewel, Nickelback, and Linkin Park. He wouldn't sing to certain other *bad* music. :)

My old budgie, Buddy, used to love the Paul Simon song "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard," because there was a whistle in it. He also loved the part in the Talking Heads song "Love --> Building on Fire" because there was a line that went "and they go tweetweetweetweetweet like little birds" and he would always yell "pretty bird!" right after it.

My birds sing along to ANYTHING that makes noise. ... Including themselves. xDD Oscar will get all excited, and chirp like there's no tomorrow, then Emmy will chime in.

Snowball really likes ska punk and jazzy techno- anything with a brass section.... and Sunny goes nuts every time he hears that enzite commercial with the whistling (although Im not sure if it's because of the whistling or the idea of male enhancement hahahaha)

That damn Enzyte commercial!!! It makes Maggie go crazy- I'm sure it's the whistling. Also, my boyfriend plays lots of computer games that have ambient noise, including bird chirps, and she's "talks" back to them. Also, she loves to sing along with the song "Chocolate Salty Balls" from South Park, and she loves 80's metal. Alas, she's inherited my boyfriend's taste in music ;-) And she'll whistle back at me and my boyfriend. My favorite noise is the adorable quiet warbling she does when she's all tired from playing, but still quite happy :-)

ahhh yeah the sweet little warbling. I love that too when they both mutter back and forth. Also when the phone rings they like to mimick it, which I find entertaining every time.
